ive thrown away at least 5 tickets from OSU and i have never recived a letter from a credit agency. i dont think parking tickets go on your police record. ive gotten pulled over with outstanding parking tickets before and the cops never said anything.

if you go to OSU and have your car registered with them (ie you bought a parking pass, so they know that car belongs to you) then you wont be able to schedule classes or graduate until you pay it. if you dont go there, or you do, but dont have your car registered (like me) then you can probably just throw it away... they may send you a letter or something, but nothing will ever happen. they arent going to come to your house looking for you... however, if you park illegally on campus again, and they catch you, they MAY tow you or put a boot on your wheel... or they may just write you another ticket. i recall hearing that they wouldnt tow you unless you had like 300 dollars of outstanding tickets or something, but i dont know if that is true or not...

not totally true. i got a ticket for throwing a cig out the window. i was very concerned that i was gonna get a 500 dollar ticket because i see those signs everywhere...but it was 91 dollars. as for cigarettes being considered litter, i belive the only thing you can legally throw out of your car is clear water.

the episode i saw, they raced it against a 911 NA, an NSX, and a 350HP TVR. during the drag race segment, they said it was neck and neck with the NSX. correct me if im wrong, but dont NSXs run like mid 13s, and a new C6 runs like 12.7 or something... not really neck and neck. then they went on to make fun of the "plastic" exterior but i do get what youre saying about the prices.

he probably means the area south of the olentangy exit, because thats the only 55 zone, or else he ment to type 65. my dad was a state trooper for many years and what he told me is this: they wont say "go out and write 15 tickets today". but they do know, through math and statistics and stuff, that there are X number of people breaking traffic law out there on the highways. if you have Y number of police to enforce it, that each one should catch about N% of X a day. so they dont have a set number really, but if everyone at the post writes 10+ tickets a day, and you are only writing 3, your supervisor knows you are slacking off. now thats not to say that they wont tell him to step up enforcement in a certain area or something. about 5 years ago, some new road opened up (i forget where, ill have to ask him) and it was implied that they should ticket cars going 1mph over the speed limit. not sure if he wrote any tickets for 1 over, but i really doubt that he did. he isnt a dick like that haha. hed probably let you slide to about 10 over, because like i said earlier... he knows that if someone goes by at 75 in a 65, he could go write that guy a ticket, or he could just wait a bit longer and someone will come by at 90+

when i went to take my temp test, they fucked up and gave me the test for getting a regular driver license, rather than the motorcycle specific test.
