  8. Used B&D Edge Hog edger used prob a year or so and then been sitting in garage. Works great no issues. $30.00 Located just north of Lancaster PM if interested http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t587/Truckin04/edger001_zps697fc6bc.jpg
  9. I'm truly sorry for your loss, may god place his healing hand upon you and your family.
  10. Thoughts are with you and your family. Too much of this stuff going on lately. Stay strong
  11. I called them they had no interest in traveling to the site, no estimate or anything.
  12. I've considered the Local FD, problem is their are 2 smaller structures very close within 5' of the house and a few very big mature trees really close to the house as well that'll forsure get damaged if it were to be set ablaze. And I really wanna keep the other buildings and the trees. Their is a lot of EPA issues you have to jump through to burn a house down. not all get approved. So Burning really isn't an option.
  13. I'm looking into purchasing an old farmhouse with the thoughts of building another house behind it while living in the home already on the property. I'd more than likely repurpose some things inside the home and sell other items, trim, flooring etc. When it's all done I'll want to tear it down. It's approx. 1200 sqft. Anyone have idea of what people charge to do this or has had it done? Just trying to gather info at this time. Thanks

    Fencing

I bought all my material from 84 Lumber in Lancaster, Anytime I set posts in the ground I've always used concrete, never had an issue, soil can erode as can gravel concrete isn't going anywhere. Not saying I'm right or wrong but how I've always done it. It took me about 2 days to set my posts (over 90 of them), stretching the fence didn't take long, I had 200' rolls and used a fence puller (a must). It was just myself and my FIL and my 3 y/o son . All in all I had to take breaks cause of rain and it being too wet to do anything. but I had it up in a week if I count the days I was actually able to work on it.

    Fencing

I did my own and my dads which is the same type. 4' tall treated wood fence with 2 rails which are 2x6 and 4x6 posts, all corner posts are 6x6. Fencing material is 12 gauge welded wire farm fencing. It wasn't bad at all as far as install. I have approx. 800' and a 10' double farm gate. All posts are set in concrete. I have about $4k in material.

    Damn what a shame.
  17. I don't know your setup, but can u just remove the tune?
  18. Sand was reportedly from the head casting process that clogged and made the egrs to fail which caused over pressure in cooling system (degas bottle puke) and ruin HG. The EGR's were a shitty Gov pressured design. So Delete or upgrade the EGR and totally flush the cooling system put some good quality ELC and a coolant filter and your good. As for running HIGH boost head studs are recommended due to TTY head bolts. I'm only running a small amount of boost on mine (about 100hp tune between the actual sct tune and a FICM tune). For a big ass CCLB 4x4 with 35's it moves pretty good. For this reason you can find nice 6.0's for a good bargin. I picked mine up with 128Kmiles for $11500 2 years ago. A deal IMO http://i1315.photobucket.com/albums/t587/Truckin04/truck13005_zps17d2eed8.jpg
  19. Very true, First thing I did was an EGR delete and a coolant flush. And your right about the babied part as well, get them out and got WOT once a week and the big boy will thank you. Really the Ford Filters (fuel and oil) have proven to be the best filters for the truck. A coolant filter is a wise very cheap investment as well. They got a bad name cause of the gov BS and unknowledgable people.
  20. The 6.0 really isn't a bad motor. It just needs some preventive maint issues taken care of to be a solid diesel. I was very leary to even look at 6.0's when I was looking at diesels, but I started reading forums and watching youtube vids and decided the issues could easily be delt with and I could do them myself. I've been problem free with my 04 6.0, I've towed/hauled a bunch of stuff and driven it all over the place. I've really came to like it. Though a 7.3 is at the top of most any diesel put in a truck, its why they are holding their value better than any diesel out there for its age and they go quick when a nice one comes up forsale. Be prepared for a nice "lower mileage" 7.3 to be in the high teens to low 20K price range. If your looking at a truck older than 5 yrs go south or west, those trucks are so damn clean underneath, just not too close to the coast!
  21. I'd expect this from a Camaro or Mopar owner, I guess us Mustang fans are just as Fucked up. http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/crime-and-courts/2014/07/10/police-arrest-man-with-hatchet/12486337/
