  1. The same way white people got here. Not in the same manner, but the same means.
  2. Agree. That's a great price point TBH. It's fair. FBMP and CL won't pay that, but if y'all aren't in a hurry I'd stick to $1500 as much as possible.
  3. I approve of the notion of a classic. To me, and I know this isn't everyone's sentiment here, cruising in a truly vintage ride at any speed is relaxing and enjoyable. Going to shows and talking with generations both past and future who are into vintage rides for various reasons and hearing a multitude of memories told is great. If I were you, and I'm not, I would sell the 'Vette since it literally means nothing to you and you have no reason to keep it since you don't autox it like you'd planned. Find something "different". Something not seen every day. The 'maro has that sent value. Your world won't end if you sell it but you WILL miss it. Dearly. Your DD? Meh. It's a DD. I also agree about getting more fresh air and daylight. Go for a hike or seven. Works for me. I love strolling through the woods and hunting/fishing.
  4. That's a better selling point. "Oil pressure gauge doesn't work" sounds better. Haha It's a fine truck mechanically with really low miles for its age. Believe me when I say I'm not trying to take a jab at it. Just my observation. As someone currently in the market for...something, that's the only things that have me questioning whether I want it or not. For $1750 one would almost be in negotiating range with something like this.
  5. Gotcha. So because they're limited runs they have more value. That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. So what if I just want silver at the cost of silver? I mean, if crap really went down and folks realized paper dollars were worthless wouldn't 1 oz of silver be 1 ox of silver at that point?
  6. It's low miles but has serious body issues. Namely, the door bottoms and cab corners rusting is a HUGE turn off for potential truck buyers in my experience. It's also RWD vs. 4x4, auto (some prefer this, but many do not), 305 vs. an old 350, manual windows and locks, it's that wrong kind of year where it's not vintage, radio needs upgraded desperately, and electrical "wackyness". Again, just my opinion, but those are BIG turnoffs for MOST looking at older trucks. If this were put on the FB marketplace or CL I could see it bringing $1000-1200. I'm not saying what it is or isn't worth, I would just be surprised if you're able to get more than $1200 for it. My 1998 F150 had just one small patch of surface rust, was an ext cab 4x4, had power everything, had no mechanical or electrical issues, and it sold for $1800. Best of luck man.
  7. According to every link posted in this thread, yes.
  8. Columbus Named Hyperloop Contest Winner, With Route Connecting Midwest
  9. Yeah. That's the preference. I've even hunted and raised my own food. Still enjoy a meal out now and then.
  10. ...I'd write a check instead of doing something myself. I mean, technically we all do. We go to a restaurant when we don't want to cook. Some folks call a plumber, electrician, or HVAC tech to fix thing. Yeah...if I had unlimited money I'd do some things but I'd write a LOT of checks (but not really checks because writing checks is for old folks).
  11. ...that "dab" though. Good for him. Truly.
  12. I miss the original lists. Damn, late 90's/early 2000's was a GREAT time to be on CR/in Cbus. START a group? This IS the group. "Just do it!" - Nike/Shia LeBouf Irony. Irony.
  13. I was recently offered silver in trade for an item. I'm completely PM ignorant so understand my question as an inquiry/education seeking. I'm really trying to learn more and I've seen you deal on here a good bit. If 1 oz of Silver is $16.96 today what makes each of these worth nearly double? I'm interested in the Air Force one for my dad. I just have no clue if that's a fair deal or not.
  14. Post on Reddit, Imgur, FB, errwhere. Go viral. Get internet infamous for .024 seconds.

  16. My son helps. He's always excited to see me. For chill time a good drink and a pipe is one of the most relaxing ways to end a day IMO.
  17. Give away everything you have and go live on gubmint assistance in Coalton. It's a shit hole. I think it's boredom. Reality is, I don't understand it either. It's like bath salts/flakka. KNOWING what it does...why?! We're just not in those situations. I can't fathom what would make ANYONE want to try any of those, but many do.
