Aug 1 would work for me too. Looks like the boys tourney got changed from Fri, Sat, Sun, to doing EVERYTHING on Sunday so I'm gonna be fat, hot, and miserable, by the time 4:00 PM rolls around anyway.

Start taking some if ya can old man. If I can't post pics on the line did the work even get done? Where's the evidence?" Dad: "The evidence is all around the pole barn. You can come see it. Eventually it will be evident that it's been done when we're driving it down the road." Not sure what all else he's done since I've been there last but Kev and I got a text a couple days ago saying, "rear axle is separated from the springs. Need you boys to help get it out from underneath. Notice I sent pictures this time." Here. Enjoy the 2 vertical pics dad sent.

DOH! Forgot I found out a few days ago my oldest son has baseball tournaments this weekend. I plan on being there depending on what time his games are.

I. Love. This. Everything about it. It's so dumb and ridiculous and I want one. The CVPI I got from Jordan for a few peanuts and a couple wooden nickles was hands down one of the most reliable vehicles I've ever owned and I abused that thing. Also, this is what I'm all about right here: PLEASE put in ANYTHING but an LS. Don't get me wrong, I love and respect how great the LS is, but...man. It's more played out than the "murdered out" look. Dad said at Good Guys he was getting offers left and right for the Fam '52 and folks near him said when he was away walking around that many folks came up asking about it and making offers because it's "all" orig. I'm SO tired of seeing EVERYTHING with an LS swap (sorry, Matt). Cheby, Ferd, Doge, ugh. ...but that's just, like, my opinion, man.

This is how I know your Escalade is too nice to be part of this. Kidding, but I say, camera gear pending/whatever, rain or shin it should go down. I'm flexible though (not physically). I don't own the camera and aside from my cell phone, Polaroids, 90's disposables, and those old slide ratchet wind things everyone's mom had in the late 80's, I know nothing of camera gear.

They also do great work. Just recently took wheels for the first time. They were completed DAYS before they quoted me and the work speaks for itself. A couple before and after:

I second finding an artist you like as styles vary just as they do with any other artform. I've had a few done by both Steve and Ben at Thou Art. I recommend them both.

First off you don't owe any of us anything. Understand that. For your own sake. Secondly, as someone who has lost 2 kids, let me tell you that I get it. I think each situation is a bit different but from someone who has dealt with it twice and in two very different ways myself I get it. You take care of you and yours, do what's best for you, and work on the car as you see fit. Updating this thread should be the LEAST of your concerns. I'm looking forward to seeing you get back into the swing of things, as hard as that can be sometimes, and keep moving forward.
