The Jeep is actually aight but in the grand scheme of "nice daily drivers"....it's still pretty aight. Looks better in pics though. LOL The Lincoln is a glorious shit box. It also looks better in pics. Especially with the hubcap missing. In neither pic can you see all the flaws and blemishes, both were cheap and paid in cash, but I dig them both. Def don't see them on the road every day. "Shitbox" doesn't have to be barely running or rusted out. Buck calls his Fiero the shitbox and I love that thing. I just thought, when I had the idea to do a shoot and make it a calendar, it'd be funny to have professional looking shots at fancy places with run of the mill cars (wonder why a Civic made me think that). I mean, these "shitboxes" have to run to get from place to place. Like, if we still owned the 2007 Camry with ~280k or whatever it had I'd bring it. It was super clean, rust free, ran great, everything worked as it should, but it's just a POS run of the mill old Camry. That kind of thing.

Some are getting into the trades younger too. We've seen a slight increase over the last couple few years. Not sure of the overall impact on the service industry but the starting pay and even work is enticing to many of them and some are finally realizing that college isn't for everybody yet they can still end up having a really rewarding career.

Was just in CB reliving the gloryhole days with some OG peeps and went looking through pics of older vehicles but also came across this from the day we picker her up. Totally forgot about it. You can get a better idea of the body/patina...aka rust and stuff.

Along with some of the classic go to's that folks use like COSI and what not.

Oh. I was thinking really nice spots like you used in the pics here just with shitty cars. lol. I'm game for whatever. ANy shitty parking garage would work. Sketti Warehouse, Parsons Ave...how willing are we to risk getting shot for this? The South High Expo/mall might work. We could do one in front of a thrift store, a liquor store, a pawn shop, etc. ...actuall we could prob just do them all on S. High/Lockbourne/Parsons. There's already a White Castle there (that should be the cover shot). We should kinda "hide" a slider in it's sleeve in every pic too.
