  1. ...this. Also, "Kaep" if we're being technical. K. Bye.
  2. If you're in this thread fighting with others in this thread who are your peers about which 2 party candidate is better or worse yet not doing a single damn thing elsewhere to promote growth and positive change or looking into revamping/overhauling an immoral, corrupt, and broken system, you're in the wrong and part of the problem. You're being played. You are a puppet. You're furthering the division. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.
  3. Invest it all in 195 degree coffee. I hear it's all the buzz these days.
  4. Neat roller skate. Do they come in pairs?

Bourbon FB groups are, for the most part, complete trash. Bunch of pissing contests, dick swinging, and folks looking to flip at outrageous secondary prices.
  6. That was literally the 4th time the temperature of 190 degrees was mentioned in this thread. Perhaps read what you're replying to and disputing.
  7. Ah, yes. The all new Weathertech Beverage Carrier. C'mon, man. Surely you've used one of those. They literally have holes all through them and are cardboard. You so silly. I believe that's exactly what some of us are saying. McD's was clearly negligent. GG was not. Annnnnnnnnd greg somehow made this a, "StOoPiD cOnSeRvAtIvEs ArE dUmMiEs!!!11!11!" political issue. :lolguy: I'm out. Y'all have a good one, don't pour coffee on your heads, and don't epoxy cups to your groins.
  8. So she gets a carrier and puts it on a glove box and it would never tip. Is that your stance? Take responsibility for your actions, absolutely, but c'mon, man. Read about the case and the studies. Oof.
  9. I don't recall if it's in that article in the OP or not but I saw the meme of the before, during, and after. She got scalped basically. I'd look it up for ya but I'm eating lunch right now and this is all the effort I want to put into it currently. I know. I've encountered a few of them in the political threads. :gabe: Perhaps, but she would have had more time to react had the coffee been closer to 160 or even 180 degrees. Are you more likely to get severe burns by sitting close to a campfire, your shoestring catching fire, and you having time to stomp it out, or being dowsed in gasoline and set ablaze? Fact of the matter is McD's was negligent and it cost them. They were in the wrong. Imagine defended WackArnold's for being at fault.
  10. This. That particular coffee wasn't just hot. It was WAY hotter than coffee ever should be. A little research will show that. Also look into hot water tank settings and the difference in skin contact with 130 degree liquid, 140, 150, etc.
  11. Am I the only one that looked up more info on this, watched several reports, and read other testimonies and reports? This wasn't all over "grandpa being called a pussy". This was a long standing feud and was a pot ready to boil over. Should folks have lost their lives over it? Hell no, but if y'all even watch the links posted and do some self study you'll see that the couple wasn't exactly acting like angels either in the incident or in the supposed many leading up to it. They also had a 15 year old special needs son and decided to act as fools. Now that kid is at the mercy of other fam members. Also, "grandpa" was 47. Some of y'all in this very thread can't be far off.
  12. Yeah. I mean, think about how old that particle board is and how it's STARTING to crumble. Just replace with new particle board and send it for another 437 years. If kept away from a leaky roof that new particle board will outlast you.
  13. With her cell phone? I would guess zero. It's not. At least I think it's not. I saw a news interview with a neighbor and it appeared to be all houses but I could be wrong. Not wrong.
  14. Dude across the street wasn't carrying and wasn't clearing snow. He walked back into his house per reports and vid to retrieve a pistol. The couple was clearing snow and the lady pulled out her cell phone. Kind of confused by your comment/question. Also, I'm not right in the head, and while this situation blows my mind, is incredibly shocking, and while I feel as though there is a LOT more that built up to this (as has been reported apparently and DEF did not justify it), as soon as I saw, "Scranton PA" I heard this in my head before I even watched the vidjya.

It is indeed. Literally just poured me some and opened this thread. I'm enjoying the Bourbon Hunters single barrel select. 125.1 proof. It's good stuff.

I've heard good things about Larceny but have yet to try it.
  17. Ew. Now that I can get down with. Screw living there in the summer.

AE rye is phenomenal IMO. A wheated bourbon is going to come across smoother or "less hot" than, say, a rye. Where rye has that peppery kick many like a wheated has none. Maker's Mark is prob the most well known wheated overall even amongst those not into whiskey or bourbon. Most everyone has at least heard of it even if they've never had it. In some cases I've found that wheated is easier to drink neat or on the rocks, esp for those just dipping their toe into the whiskey realm. A high rye works great in a cocktail (although many drink those neat, with water, etc too obv). Get yourself a bottle of Bulleitt and a bottle of Bernheim and try them each neat, with a splash of water, on the rocks, and mixed in an old fashioned or manhattan. You might just find you like one far better than the other then can branch out to more in the same category. Some of my fav wheated's, in no particular order, are: Bernheim Maker's 46 Makers Cask Strength OWA There's more but those 4 are a decent place to start.
