Bob is pretty spot on from what I've seen. Still doesn't make sense to me. The market changed when bourbon became trendy.
Pappy being iconic for 10 years I kind of agree with but I have a buddy who walked in some 3-4 years ago (IIRC) and it was sitting out on the shelf at MSRP. Taters gonna tate...and they've driven the secondary market up to tater prices as a results.
Just my opinion on it though. I just sit back and laugh at those throwing money away on secondary and time away waiting 4 hours in line to MAYBE get a Blanton's or EHT or something.
He was responding to a question. They kinda took it out of context. He wasn't really running his mouth.
His record picking the last few years.
2019: 14-6
2018: 11-7
2017: 10-7
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is what it is. I don't put a lot of weight in that. lol
That 3 pack sampler I posted a page or 2 back was from 665 Kroger and they had a few other full bottles. I see it there often. Top right IIRC.
Shifting gears:
Stop Wasting Your Money on Bourbon That’s Too Old
Ah.
IMO Whistelpig is worth it so long as you're not paying secondary.
Woodford was my first true bourbon I ever sipped on neat and I've grown to love the double oaked and many other offerings. Hard to beat for the price. I've also found others I like just as much or more in the price range.
Being able to sample and review SO much the last few years (and watching my palette expand/change as it continues to do) has been fun.
While the WP is readily avail it's not a bad rye at all. I like it. Don't feel bad about that one. It's a solid pour at the price.
This thread was born 14 years ago. Holy hell. Digging up the dead. lol
I think they care a lot less now than back then. I can't remember the last time I heard someone getting harassed for tint.
It's essentially a brand new old Jeep. I dig it and I think for that Jeep with that resto it's pretty close to fair pricing...but what do I know?
Answer: not much.
1) Twitter is privately owned. They can ban who they want and folks can choose to use their platform or not. I know this is obvious.
2) Banning Trump because they don't like what he says sets a precedent. One they don't have the balls to follow.
C) That's all hilarious to me.
4) Profart?
