  1. Nice. Good thinking with the conduit.
  2. Where are they a "no-no"? Mini-split FTMFW but not always cheap. I was gonna recommend that given my line of work but I re-read the OP and thought otherwise.
  3. Cheap? Wood burning stove. Honestly, prob just a torpedo heater would be fine.
  4. This is what I was trying to say. Thank you.
  5. Very cool. Wish I'd known about it while my BiL was stationed on LeJeune. Would've def driven there. We drove down to the Battleship North Carolina one time. Loved touring it.
  6. I'm going all in. Gonna sell soon though. They'll go the way of Bitcoins soon enough.
  7. Big shout out to Wagner for setting this article up.
  8. If he never had the vidya games but started in the garage he'd likely have a different mindset, no?
  9. This. 100% agree. That and they didn't teach their kids/grandkids or share in the hobby. Those kids found the thrill of racing vidya games and the rest is history.
  10. I agree and here is where our country/society has fallen short. Rather than improve the system each incident is used and twisted to push an agenda. Funny. I haven't seen a single mention of banning assault RV's nor has the news been talking about this much the last 4 days. Maybe it's just b/c I don't watch a lot of news but the radio and social media has been far more silent than when a firearm is used it seems.
  11. No lie. Martelle saw it on a shelf in FL for $5500 or so IIRC. Depends on the market wherever it is located and following some bourbon/whiskey groups on FB it doesn't even shock me anymore to see folks asking that. They hype drove the market WAY up over the last few years. Started building slowly then BOOM. Everyone started rushing to make bourbon so the market is flooded with low aged things now and the secondary prices on the good ones are just stupid. Thankfully in Ohio the prices are controlled. That's why we don't see that. What's also controlled is what we get when so there's the flipside. OHLQ will sit on things leaving them in the warehouse for months or years until they decide it's time to release them, do a lotto, etc. Good for him. I would've def sampled then sold the rest. Yes that's a thing and yes I've seen an open bottle with a few less ounces still sell for ~$1k. :dumb: There have also been instances of folks buying empties, filling them with some other bourbon/whiskey, sealing them so well it's hard to tell it's been opened, and still getting hundreds to thousands depending.

    That's interesting. Sounds really good.
  13. It's a $200 bottle retail but the secondary is full spud. Around here ~$1200 is the going rate for this one as far as I've seen. In other states where the stores prices aren't controlled by the liquor agency I've seen them on shelves for ~$4500-$7k. So, to answer your question, as with anything it's worth what anyone is willing to pay.
  14. Which is unfortunate unfortunately. lol
  15. Columbus Racing doesn't give a shit either way about iRacing.

I'm sure you CAN but as someone who regularly enjoys a pipe and occasionally a good cigar often while sipping on whiskey/bourbon they do not taste the same as a smoked mixed drink IMO...but that's just me. YMMV. I'd love to try it but lol @ $500. I know, I know. My palette isn't sophisticated.
  17. That's a $200 bottle. I'll give him $200 for it.

Nah. Not the same at all.
