  1. This is true. Thanks for the link and the heads up. Appreciate it.
  2. Man, I skipped right past it while channel surfing last night. Will check it out.
  3. Thanks. I'll check it out. I don't get the Dispatch. I'll get ahold of one Sunday though.
  4. Best of luck to you then. And fair, I never said "Zombie Apocalypse". It was in my mind but you had no way of knowing that. Also, I'm pretty sure Eli carried a couple of guns for when the crap really hit the fan.
  5. Jeez...no thanks. On that Taurus that is. To the rest of you, thanks. I'll look into them.
  6. Wu-Tang is double less than all of the other MC's? I agree completely. Jay Z is a producer. His raps are...meh. Just my opinions though. I prefer to listen to music so whatever.
  7. Why not? IT SHOOTS SHOTUNG ROUNDS AND RIFLE ROUNDS d00d!!!!11!11!!11!11 Haha. Nope, just to add to the collection and kicks and giggles. Self defense? I suppose it would work. It did in TWD, first episode. Point blank? Bye bye zombie head. I just want the Judge b/c it's different. My carbine would work great for self defense along with my 12g. Not worried about that. This pistol would also sit within reach of the bedside along with the carbine.
  8. Had a buddy pick up a Maverick from Vances for $129 I think. They were running a big sale. Don't know if they still are.

  10. So I'm getting her a 9mm or 380. Any recomendations? Probably used since budget is tight so keep that in mind. Last time we were out shooting I mentioned saving for a Benelli semiauto shotgun or Taurus Judge to our friend and she interjected, "I want my gun next." Instantly made me smile. She'd been nervous about shooting pistols in the past. Grew up with hunter all throughout her fam so shotguns and rifle are fine. Our friend, an Army MP, has been shooting with us a lot recently and has instructed her on how to work with 3 different 9mm pistols so she's much more comfortable. My carbine just gets too heavy she says. Anyone know of anything? Thanks.
  11. Strong blade? I have a 14" dagger, my 6" Buck knife, and my hand to stump weapons of choice: Louiseville Slugger inscribed with my name (never used and ready for action) and my 6 and 8 irons which I never used with my set. Those should suffice. Ball bat and clubs worked for Casey Jones and it's good enough for me. http://www.derok.net/derok/images/classics/tmnt%20casey%20jones.gif Fair, and a great plan, but to let you know before you wade through 30+ miles of Zombies this isn't my safe haven, just enough to get me there. I'd be long gone before you ever got here. I'm even taking the cats that hang out on the buildings front porch for food. Best of luck. Bingo. Through the brain will work nicely. Decapitation with a machete will do very little. Didn't you watch TWD this week? The bayonet on the AK is. It's fully functional as a standalone blade. We're getting of topic. How many Zombies did Eli come across? Hmmm... Against humans decap is fine and effective. Watch 3rd episode of TWD to see why I disagree with your theory. Also, I quoted the pic just b/c I like Tom. Precisely. I'll take your word for it. These guns + my blades, bat, golf clubs, and my (not shown) 12G will do me well. I have a .22 LR also, but I think that's just be for fun to tick them off from a decent distance.
  12. Ever see Dual Survivor? I want those guys on my squad.

I'm amazed at how logical his point is.

9 posts? Um...welcome? Anyways, fixed with my own personal experience (and better grammar). Since my experience cancels yours out they're both void in this debate that you're not into all that much. Carry on.
  15. So is the GS. Cousin just bought an 07 GS. Buddy has an RL. I'd take the GS anyday. Plus Lexus service > *. I envy their service more than I do their vehicles. The car is sick though. Gets my vote hands down. Just my preference though.

  17. Three words: We. Source. Is. You're right though. Tires are easy to find. I'm just not sure 56" swampers will be and filling them all with foam? I personally don't even know where to get that done and google will only get me so far when almost everyone else on the planet is infected. This is why I talk to folks. Get to know their strengths. Build a solid team around you. Just like Contra Force. http://img.muare.vn/dekhi111/ContraForce.gif ^Link^
  18. Awesome. I know there have been things similar in the past but for one reason or another never took off. I'll sign up, talk to my band about it, and spread the word to other buddies bands. Thanks.
  19. Problems with our economy and people not buying? Yeah... Kidding. I used Napster, Frostwire, and Limewire back in the day. Just iTunes now though.
  20. I have a quad I might unload, but it's not a sport quad. Actually, might be better. It's a "Sport" utility quad. http://4wheelonline.com/Images/CategoryImages/SW-HonMountKit-Large.jpg *Stock photo. Not mine but the exact same save the winch. Click pic for details. It's a 2000 Rancher ES. Electronic shift, full digital display, RWD, full foot boards, and get's you anywhere you need to go. Not 100% sure if I will sell it but I'd recommend this for kids over a 300EX any day. Those 300's are no slouch. Forget anything bored to keep up with the 660. You're asking to remove a kid from the interior of a tree at that point.
  21. Ok, maybe no bike. The half track guys have the right idea. Tracks > tires. Honestly though....Zombie's can't swim and can't climb ladders. The choice is simple. http://www.defense.gov/dodcmsshare/newsphoto/2000-12/001207-N-2781V-501_screen.jpg
  22. Sorry. One of the fastest growing sports. With the UFC/WEC merge it'll grow even more. Look at the bright side: At least it's not soccer or NASCAR.
  23. I'm going for reliability and longevity of use on minimal resources. http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/ne/new-balance-rx230-d-running-spike.jpg http://bikereviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/trek-mountain-bikes-history.jpg ...of course these I'd wear and haul in the back of a truck until I absolutely needed them.
