  1. Also +1 to what everyone else has said. Getting hungry now. Haha. ESPECIALLY Tilapia. No strong fish taste so you can season it to taste pretty much however you want.
  2. Go to the store. Get: - 1 small pack of chicken stuffed tortallini - 2 small backs of 3 cheese tortallin - 1 pack of mushrooms - 1 jar of crushed red pepper alfredo sauce - 1 pack of mozz cheese (optional) 1) Bring water to boil in a pot. Add all tortallini. 2) Clean then quarter mushrooms. 3) Add a small dab of butter to a frying pan. Toss in mushrooms and sprinkle with garlic salt and any other herbs. I use whatever I have lying around. Just small quantities. Garlic salt is key though. 4) Strain tortallini when done and put in a bowl big enough to mix. 5) Add mushrooms and the sauce made from the mushrooms. Mix together. 6) Add sauce, still at room temp, mix and serve. Quick, easy, cheap, and delicious. I usually get some good chicken and make that with it too but you mentioned being tired of it.
  3. This. $350K for a car? Cute.
  4. In. Clay, I'll do my best to be there by 8 and grab you that coffee/bagel or whatnot I promised like a month ago. Haha.
  5. Really? A guy drives on his land, pulls in his driveway, and tries to get in his house until we blocked the entrance to the garage. [ronwhite]I don't think so Scooter.[/ronwhite] Officer even said that it was a threatening situation and he had the right to do so. Told the guys he would've backed him on it. Regardless, he didn't. He saw the officer coming and let him do his job. Didn't pull the trigger so therefore this is all irrelevant.
  6. Work for Google. I hear their perks are ridiculous.
  7. Possibly. One way to find out. I promise that if I felt threatened or felt that my family, friends, or property was under attack I'd shoot first, reload, shoot some more, then let someone else ask questions as I reloaded again. Almost happened about 4 years ago. Up late with my bro at my parents house. Middle of the country, their house sitting about 200+ yards off the road, car flies up the driveway at 1:00 am. Wake up dad and head out there. Found out later they were running from the cops, who eventually caught up with them there. Good thing. Dad and I had loaded 12ga pump actions pretty effin' quick. Guys (2 of them) told the cops they knew us. BS. Dad told the cop he was glad they were there b/c if they took another step towards him, when we were standing at the door in the house telling them not to come any closer, he would've shot. Officer looked at one of the guys and said, "Ya here that? He would've too. That's his right if you invade his property." It's hard to say for sure I guess. I just really don't think I'd lose sleep over it. When was the last time a group of Canadians overran part of Montana?
  8. That's what I meant. I haven't been there before so I don't know. Hope everything works out for them.

  10. If all this is true that's seriously an issue though. Can't they just correct the issue by ramping up their safety features and stay open though?
  11. Well Battelle, move your building. LOL j/k
  12. Coming onto your property? Warn, draw, fire. Self defense, right?
  13. Good example of someone protecting and serving. Sounds like it was handled properly. Lights on to warn motorists to merge into the left lane and slow down, cones place, and probably parked a safe distance behind the vehicle and walked up. Yes, all was done well...except that a guy didn't know how to change a tire. lol If I was stranded on the side of 71, ESPECIALLY if I had kids, I'd do as you all said and try to call for assistance though. I wouldn't mind changing my own if an officer set up a nice little warning for other motorists. If they do even that I'd be thankful. Good to see this thread countering the other about an officer not helping. Just proves that there are good and bad in every position.
  14. Liberals? http://www.dra-mata.com/images/macro/liberals.jpg http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/lancer02es/Liberals.png I kid! I kid! Don't want to start a political debate.
  15. This. I'm buying more guns and stocking up on ammo.
  16. I think it's more that there is 100% action in every 2 second play. I have been to 2 Crew games. Uncle use to be a season ticket holder. Watched a forever long game of 1 guy kicking a ball and the only time the oposing team would react is when he came clsoe to them. The rest of the guys stroll about the field. With football in every play there are 22 guys actually doing SOMETHING. Not 1, 2, or 3 guys running side by side. Don't get me wrong, I know soccer has it's appeal. I know and admit it takes work to play at that level. I played soccer for 2 years and left it to continue baseball...and that was at like 6 years old. It bored the tar out of me then. Just my .02.

    UFC 115

    Awesome idea. lol I'd watch.
  18. I haven't read through everything but I'll add my own experience. Parents bought 8 acres and built a house and pole barn back in 1996. That year dad asked his neighbor about riding lawn mowers since he obviously had a crazy amount of land. He bought a Ford 9N and 5ft bush hog for most of it but wanted a better cut around the house. Since zero turns were rare then he asked about your average mower and what brand would be best. The best advice he got was to avoid lawn mowers and buy a garden tractor with a mower deck. He took the advice and they still mow with the same tractor to this day. Why is that so amazing? The tractor was parked in the pole barn (big enough to hold 2 RV's) when that tornado hit C-ville like 7-8 years ago. The whole barn crumpled on top of everything inside. We dug this tractor out from beneath I don't know how many pounds of 6x6's, 2x10's, 2x4's, etc. and aluminum. It was insane. The steering wheel broke but with the way it's made you can't tell by looking at it and we never replaced it. Still use it like normal. There was also a small tear in the seat. We haven't done a single thing to it since we bought it besides add gas. I'd get one if I needed a riding mower/garden tractor. It's a Craftsman. Bought it at Sears. Garden Tractors cost a little more but are built way better. Akin to an SUV on a truck frame vs. an "SUV" on a car frame. This is the type I'm referring to.
  19. I was down there all last week too. Didn't hear a thing about it.

    Beef Jerky!

Jack Links is an ok last resort. Homemade/local made FTW. There's a few places down here in C-ville you can get some good homemade jerky. Beef jerky is good, deer jerky is great, alligator wasn't bad but didn't impress me. Haven't tried ostrich or elk though.

    UFC 115

This. I remember watching Royce fight early on...then his decline. I remember Shamrock dominating....then getting worked over 3 times by Tito. Liddell and some of our other fav's are in fact getting older, but it's all cyclical. The sport will continue. PS ~ I am a huge Liddell fan, but just as I was a huge MJ fan, ya gotta know when to hang it up.
