Gotta have the stealthiness of a cougar, eyes of a hawk, ears of a canine, and strength of a bull! So yeah...I'd be pretty much screwed. I agree though. The best thing that happened to her is that she noticed it while it was standing still. Agreed, but a Remington .22 with a 50 round clip is enough to scare off most animals around here if nothing else. Doesn't matter anymore. Traded my .22 last night for my 9MM carbine so scratch the .22.

Agree with all of the above. Originally joined b/c I loved my Tercel (don't know why anymore) and aspired to have cars the members had (RX7's, LS1's, Subi's, etc. etc.) when I was younger. Now I'm back b/c life has brought me full circle and no matter what I filled my time with I missed wrenching on a car. Now that I'm a lot older and a little wiser I'm doing things differently. Haven't bought a single neon or system to date. lol It's a great place to meet new people and the core group have always been great guys once you get to know them. They also aren't as bad in person as on here and as long as you're not a total asshat at meets they're pretty accepting....of most. Plus, I wanna grow up to be just like Anthony......without as much wire loom.

I'm new here (gun crew) so who wants to set it up? Let's do it. June is gonna be hectic for me but I will be getting out a lot more soon.

Point proven. I guess I should also say +1 on gun carry with knife. My choice of gear if I'm out for a length of time: My Buck knife. http://www.sonomacutlery.com/store/images/P/119.jpg My Mossberg .22 bolt action with 4x scope. http://hammerbackguns.com/images/plinkster-synthetic-mossberg.JPG Pump action 12G http://www.brnoguns.co.uk/images/N22_12g.jpg And after tonight my Hi Point 995ts. http://renegadearmament.com/images/rsrinventory/M/MKS995TS_1.jpg Of course I don't ALWAYS carry ALL of these when I go out but if I am in an area where a friggin' mountain lion, bear, or even coyote could even possibly attack I would have at least the 9mm or 12G and my Buck knife.

I need one of these for Red Dead. Spent my lunch break today trying to kill an effin' bear with the knife. +1 on the gun carry.

I say leave it. Personally, I'd just get the hood to match the black and remove the chrome trin on the fenders. Just me though.

Made me chuckle.

I'd love to but 180+/- HP isn't too impressive. Maybe for the next one after chip and some other things. Anthony, I may come just to meet and take vid if thats cool.

Hard to say the way recent years have shaped up. I'd like to say OSU will be a contender but only the fan in me can. The realist in me knows there is too many q's. Nebraska maybe? We can handle Miami I believe for reasons stated in past threads. Bama will beat Peen State as they're too inconsitent...which won't look good for the conference. As for other big games I haven't had time to research the line-ups yet. I'm all for ND b/c I think within 5 years (or less) Kelly will turn them around. Great recruiter. Plus history has already told him if he can't get the job done in 5 years he's out. Nebraska would be great. Solid team with a great history. Missouri has some flash and pizzaz and could do well and restore some luster to our conference overall. Pitt can suck it. I hate Mark May. That's the only reason I say that. Rutgers too. I guess I'll blame that on Mark May to b/c....I can. I agree with previous posts. They'll have as legit a shot as an undefeated Hawaii team. Sorry, not gonna happen. Having the Smurf Turf won't land you a title or a shot with the big boys. ..............yes. It actually hurt me physically to say that. Great topic BTW. + rep.

http://media1.break.com/dnet/media/2008/6/40jun18-tough-guys.jpg Kidding. Seriously though, as previously stated this is a private site. It's like walking onto someones property for a cook out that's "open invite". They run the show. Kinda got to accept that it's a privately owned shindig and you're there (here) as a guest who is being allowed access. That individual and his friends/fam aren't gonna allow someone to walk up, kick over the grill, egg their cars, punch one of their kids in the eye, cock slap their wife, and then tell them what they need to do to make their cookout better. Just my .02...or .01 since I haven't been at a meet or track day since like 2003.

5 hour energy FTW. Other than that Rockstar or a good cup of coffee.

About twice a month. Getting ready to get a new gun. I need to join the group here. Saturday with cousins, friends, and uncle the 7 of us unleashed out on my grandparents property in the country outside of West Jeff. Here's a line up. No clue how many rounds between all of us. 12G pump action .22 Mossberg bolt action (scope) .22 Winchester custom (black stock, chrome barrel, scope, sling, 30 round clip) .22 Winchester (50 round clip) .22 pistol Colt .45 9MM Ruger Hi point .380 (yeah, it jammed a few times) Bolt action 410 The mossberg is my only current gun I personally own. I think this week/weekend I'm gonna grab a 9MM carbine though. We'll see. EDIT: Here's a pic of my gun for kicks and giggles. http://hammerbackguns.com/images/plinkster-synthetic-scope.JPG

New to this thread but that's awesome. Recently started a life change, not a diet, myself. I'll follow the original format. yenner/421/388/Not dying before 30 years old a.k.a. about 250. EDIT: No, that starting weight is not a typo. Yes it was on the Dr.'s scale. Yes I use to weigh more than Christopher "Big Black" Boykin.

I agree with this. I want to start making it back out and get to know new members and maybe see some old faces. Going to my first OhioVW meet I was shocked to see Clay there and from that got invited to CC&C. It was great. It's hard to meet up with CR though when it's spur of the moment and 1.5 hours away. I'm not saying bring it closer to C-ville, that's ridiculous. Just stating it's hard for me b/c I have to check the forums Friday or Saturday and THEN see if I'm free the day of. If it was set, as it use to be, it'd be a lot easier to schedule. This also. The OhioVW photo shoot a couple saturdays back brought some attention. We all met at the Walmart on Rome Hilliard and had a few VW owners slip by and check out the gathering. We invited them in. One guy was with his wife and 2 kids and didn't stop, just smiled and waved. Another guy got out and talked for awhile before he had to leave. It was a very welcoming environment. Everyone was so chill. It was good to be a part of it. This too. I will keep an eye out for them since there are gonna be 2. I'll try to schedule it in. Again, I agree. Branching out of the 1/4 will broaden the member base I believe. Columbus Racing is one of my favorite car sites, although I fell off the map for awhile, because of it's diversity. A ton of different people from different walks of life with different cars and styles. Granted some people flame those they don't agree with but with a group of any size some of that will happen. To host events outside the strip will allow more members to be part of something. Diversity in the members, cars, AND racing styles. I currently have a Jetta 1.8T. Sure I'm gonna do a few things (chip, TBE, etc) to make it quicker but it will never be an all out drag car. It will never hit 10's. I can however get my kicks with a "quick" little car and good suspenion setup at an autocross event. Just my thoughts. I still love CR, even though there use to be mixed feelings about me and my car (The riced out Tercel with blue neons for those of you that may not remember), and hope nobody on here will hold a grudge against me for how I use to act or what I use to drive. Haha. Here's to seeing everyone soon.

Welcome. Always wondered about that type of exhaust. I still don't fully understand why, but as you said, build your car for you and enjoy it.

A few pic's. Some of you may remember me. I'm just as fat and ugly as I use to be...just older and a little less asshole-ish. lol Current band. http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/131/l_e2051a01b34144eb94b365b0a07ca582.jpg Former band. http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/85/l_8e536878efc89a94d399d28de4a721cc.jpg With one of my nephews. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs122.snc1/5255_711846197474_12311478_41810001_6186120_n.jpg Current band again. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs416.snc3/25093_113109818712782_100000412925888_180637_1783094_n.jpg
