  1. bolting a safe down and changing locks vs. getting ur stuff stolen........ even if i had to move once a week and unbolt that shit i would rather do that then give some punk a chance 2 steal it........ second option, set these ppl up, he could have a coworker that was robbed or something stay over that night dress up like ur old man and in morning they could leave the apt and get in your old mans car and go on to work like anyother day while your father sits in closet waiting they might notice the guy leaving and think coast is clear;)
  2. maybe this is some dumb questions but how the hell that guy know where he will land from that far up? free falling like that until you pull the chute could put ot 100's of miles away from intended destination right? not until he does pull chute can he control where to land but that might be to late? never done any sky diving just curious tho.... be crazy to land in another country lol
  3. i love mine i love the trigger pull, everyone that shoots it seems to like it also, had a few haters shoot it and shut up afterwards
  4. not sure if i missed it or scrolled to fast but didnt see any sks's... the price for the 54r's didnt look bad, might know a guy looking for one of them edit- never mind went to home page and found them
  5. austin is pretty spot on, not that the savings isnt worth it but you dont do any hobby trying to save money right? ill try and figure out what i save on .223, loaded some 5.7 up and i save about .20 to .25 cents a rd depending on what bullet i go with, now that adds up as stated the 9mm is a break even once time is figured in, but i dont have to worry if walmart has any cause i always have some
  6. any way to work a sks in there? if so what kinda $ and info on what ones they have available... spliting the ffl fee and each pays the $8 shipping?
  7. ok dont kno what factory is going for but i just put some number together on http://www.handloads.com/calc/loadingCosts.asp .12 to. 15 cents a rd for jhp 9mm depending on what powders i use and what i paid for cases. i have alot that are free or reused so u got to figure that in :)15 to 17 cents a rd for jhp .40 whats 9mm an .40 going for right now? also buying powder in 4 and 8 lb kegs cuts a nice savings....same with primers by the 1k...
  8. like evan said depends on how much your shooting, free time you have on your hands, and the extra cash to buy the stuff i do it cause i shoot often enough it has saved me money, i have free time, its relaxing, can make more quality loads, and so on money for start up really depends on how involved you want to be, single stage presses are some what cheap to start off with but takes more time to do......progressive ones cost more but you can put out more reloads faster, the you have the whole quality thing of the both that can be a long debate btw everyone..... its been long time since ive compared prices to my reloads to factory ammo so i cant really tell u a savings at the moment with out looking into it, my savings tho in reloading paid off pretty fast for as much as i was shooting tho last summer , you also have to figure your time i guess in the whole ordeal hopefully that was somewhat helpful lol
  9. lol yea, just thought maybe i knew you, there are few members on here from up this way what kinda deals you getting on any shipping and so forth? might know a few here in mtvernon might be interested in saving a lil $$ o n group buy....
  10. didnt think this needed its own thread so posted here hope noone minds http://www.valleycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=402271 ''Three men are being held for a Palmview home invasion where an 11-year-old boy was shot defending his mother. Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies told Action 4 News that it happened off Minnesota Road and 8 Mile Line between Palmview and Mission around 12:30 a.m. Friday. The homeowner said she and her 11-year-old son were in bed when she heard banging coming from the front door. She got up to check and she saw two Hispanic males men wearing masks and armed with handguns walking towards her. She quickly closed the bedroom door but one of the men allegedly tried to force it open. The masked man kept telling her to open the door and she would not open the door. The woman told deputies that the home invaders shot through the door and hit her son on the left hip area. Her son had a 22 cal. Rifle and shot back at the alleged robbers. The woman waited, opened the door, saw that the suspects were gone and called 911. Deputies found blood all over the floor and noted that the front door had been knocked down. Paramedics took the woman's 11-year-old son to the McAllen Medical Center where he’s listed in stable condition. But deputies told Action 4 News that a man with a gunshot wound to his neck ended up at the same hospital. Investigators said nothing was taken from the home and that the wounded suspect was taken to a hospital in San Antonio for further treatment. He remains under guard. Criminal charges are expected to be filed against him, if he survives. Deputies said Border Patrol agents detained two Mexican nationals who were found in the area. The two men are being questioned about the home invasion. U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials told Action 4 News that they have filed immigration detainers against the two men.''

  15. not sure on FNH pricing, back 2 yrs ago when i first started looking for one you couldnt find them for under $1200, i kinda hated spending that on one so i waited and cam across one used for $850 that had a few extras with it so made me happy with the purchase, my cousin has been wanting one and ive been watching them and seems like you can find them for around $900 now, as i said their prodution numbers i guess increased and i think thats why prices are coming down im same way on prices, i try not to shop for expensive guns, i like what works and functions, but like the 5.7 there are guns that i see and want so i dont mind spending the extra money on them... kinda like the difference btw the dime pieces at the strip clubs and the uglies you kno who you will spend more on
  16. if you keep clicking it it generates the same 6 or 7 names haha
  17. some call it that....... they arent exactly expensive, id say there are alot more other guns out there that cost more, really when you get into some nice 1911's these are cheap lol FNH is putting the 5.7's out there steady, now the price has been coming down
  18. i like my FN5.7, im considering getting a FNH in .45acp, read alot of guys like them aswell
