  1. Looks like some people on here need a history lesson on Unions and the Economy. If we didn't have unions, then the USA sure wouldn't be where we are today. Most of the people that bitch and complain about unions probably never been in one and dont understand the real reasons for one. Sure times have changed and we dont need as many unions as 30-50 years ago, but some industries still need them because they will get fucked. It's not just about higher pay and protecting lazy fucks, theres a bit more to it than that. Do some research before being so negative.
  2. WTF is that suppose to mean? Been watching TV in HD for over a year now. I get HD through my cable. I want to get a Blue Ray Player in the future so I can watch HD movies on my HD TV.
  3. Paul, my son is already playing the Wii, I was thinking a PS3 for him as he gets a little older plus I can play it now.
  4. I'm looking for some red and black 8 and 10 gauge power wire for car amps. Don't care what brand as long as its not the really cheap shit. Need about 15 ft of each size and color. Anyone have any hook ups, if so, post up the per/ft price of each. Thanks, Bill
  5. Hi guys, I currently have a Wii and a 56" 1080P TV and was thinking of getting a PS3 down the road so I can play a few games plus have a Blue Ray Player. I'm not a gamer by any means, what is your opinion on the PS3 platform? The old PS3 combo with Metal Gear was ok (even played PS2 games) but cost $500.00. I really want a Blue Ray player but $300 for a dvd player is kinda high plus a PS3 can do both. Is it worth buying or should I wait till the Blue Ray players come down in price and buy more Wii games? Bill
  6. First 2 jobs I've seen them before, pay is a joke (I make more on unemployment) but the 3rd I responded to, but most likely its probably like the first 2. Thanks for posting, keep them coming...
  7. Website? Not willing to relocate as I have a house and land I would have to sell in this terrible housing market, plus we like living here in Columbus.
  8. Hi guys, I'm currently looking for a job due to my job being outsourced to China and Mexico. I worked at Lucent Technologies (Alcatel-Lucent) for just over 11 years building and testing Cell Phone systems for customers like Verizon, Sprint, ATT/Cingular. I have 14 years experience with electrical/electronic components and systems along with a 2 year Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering. I'm looking for a company east of I-71 since I live on the east side, 1st shift. I made decent money at Lucent. With my experience, skills and education, I would like a starting pay of at least $20.00/hour. There are electronic jobs out there but they don't pay all that well anymore like 5 years ago. I look everyday online (Monster, Careerbuilder, etc) and check the paper. Its a very tough economy right now, hopefully something pans out soon... If anyone has a company in mind, feel free to post them here or send me a PM. Not willing to relocate Thanks, Bill
  9. 3 pulls plus WB and Boost your crazy, $50.00 is a great deal!
  10. Hi guys, I'm looking for a small 2 channel amp (25-40 Watt per channel) to use in my garage. Must be "brand name" and bridgeable into 4 ohm load. (Alpine, Rockford, Kicker, etc) Prefer to have an electronic xover as well. Bill
  11. I'll be impressed if it goes below $2.00 a gallon, but my guess is that we will never see that again. $2.25-$2.50 will be the average once things settle down.
  12. I just saw that car the other day going north bound on Waggoner, nice car, what a shame. Hope all is well.
  13. As much as I would like to see the VOLT do well for GM, I think GM will rush it to production and it will have quality problems (Battery system) and/or the price will be too high for the average joe. Who knows maybe the marketing department will do well for that car.
  14. I've rode in that car and it's slow, Brian traded it in on the Z06..... . . . . . . . . . . J/K Glad to see you playing with it again!
  15. I'd say all years, you'll get a bigger turn out. I'll help out what I can, we'll talk again soon. Bill
  16. Good luck Brian. I'm unemployed now, need any help?
  17. Hi guys! Finally got them on the web. They are all untouched, just resized. I'd say about 80% are good. I took them with my Canon DSLR 40D with a Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 Lens. If any one needs a bigger pic, I have the full size JPEG and RAW file. Enjoy! Click for Pics If this needs to be moved to a different forum, please do so, thanks! Bill

  21. East side people, meet up at the Kroger on East Broad Street and Lancaster Ave (Eastpoint) by 8am, leave there at 8:15am to head up to the next meeting spot at Krogers off of Avery Road (northwest C-Bus), leave there no later than 9:15am.
  22. I'm thinking of going. I have other things going on that might prevent me from going though. Show starts at 10am and going to about 3-4pm,price is $6 or 7 I believe... Id say for the east side people, meet up at the Kroger on East Broad street and Lancaster Ave (Eastpoint) At 8am, leave there at 8:15am to head up to the next meeting spot at Krogers off of Avery Road (northwest C-Bus), leave there no later than 9:15am. You want to get there kinda early so we can all park together along the fence across from the main building/tent.
