If your not going to the track anymore, then I would buy it. If your going to drive it hard, save your $$$ for a 9". BTW - 9" have a lot more options since I bought mine last year....

I need to buy a large Marine/Deep Cycle battery for a solar project. Looking for one with a lot of "amp Hours" and under $100 I know you can get them at Sears, Autozone, Sams, etc, but what brands would you guys recommend with a good warranty? Bill

Glad to hear your business is doing that well! Have you talked to a Realtor yet? Explain to them what your doing now, what your future plans are and have them do the searching for you. They would know of places to buy/rent that regular people won't. Good luck!

Good luck Chris!

That fucking sucks... Shit, I would have paid the $10.00 to renew it out of my own pocket. Damage is done now, time to move on....

When you add a LS6 intake to a pre 2001 F-Body, you'll need new coolant lines as well. They are about $40.00 and you might need new intake gaskets and a TB gasket.

Such a shame someone let it go.... Sure some people complained that at times it was too "serious", but looking back, that was when the club was at it's peak (members, bank account, events, hangouts, messageboard postings, etc) I'm glad I was a part of COFBA, it sure helped pave the way for the way I think about the great F-Body and cars in general. Once the new Camaro comes out next year, http://www.compgm.com will become VERY popular in Columbus.

Someone on here pointed me to this and it works good. http://www.pdf995.com/ Bill

I bought an extra Wii a few days ago for someone and now they don't want it. I'm not looking to make a lot of money off of it. The other person said they would give me a few bucks for getting one if I could find one, thus the reason why I bought an extra. Yes, they are $250, but you have to pay tax as well.... $290 firm, cash only You pick up, located in Blacklick (eastside) If interested, shoot me a PM. Bill

Well I bought a Logitech Extreme 3D pro but I can't get it to work with the game. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/joysticks/devices/291&cl=us,en I installed the driver for the joystick and the game "sees" it but it won't work. In the Logitech software it says something about game profile. Do I have to set up the joystick in that first? I'm just clueless at this point.

Need to get 9" center section rebuilt? 4WD Places?
Billiumss replied to Billiumss's topic in Tech and Tips
After talking to Mike on the phone for 15 minutes, I've decided to go with Mike Ward Racing to get my center section rebuilt. I even had the chance to drop off my part yesterday and get a tour of the shop. Not too many shops have "Sunday" service. Very impressed and very close to my house. I should get it back by the end of the week and hopefully my car will be road worthy by next Wednesday! Thanks again Mike for taking your time out of your Sunday to help me out! -
I don't own any other game system, starting from scratch, so using a Sony game controller would work well with my game then? What about if I wanted an actual joystick controller, any you would recommended? What about this one: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/pc_gaming/joysticks/devices/302&cl=us,en

What is Mikes #? -
I have one of those adaptors, what would I use it for? The joystick? I'm lacking when it comes to playing games on a PC. What brand joystick would you recommend?

Playstation 2 or PS2 on the motherboard?

I'm not really into video games so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I installed the Transformers game on my PC, it runs great but its hard as hell to control with the keyboard and mouse. I'd like to buy a USB joystick and/or a game controller. What brands are good for under $30.00? Will it work with the game? Other than hard to control, very cool game, my wife, son and I love the movie. Bill

Cousin just bought 2003 Mustang GT Vert Auto 9K miles
Billiumss replied to Billiumss's topic in Passing Lane
yes.... Cherry = mint/perfect shape.... lol Keep them coming guys... I don't think he'll want to lower it, just make it sound a little better and faster. What about brand of these parts you guys talk about? Where is a good place to buy parts? I know of the GM places but not the Ford places. -

Its more his wifes car than anything, he drives semi's for a living. She also has a 89 Mustang 4 cyl auto. Even though it would be fun but no spray for this car, just basic mods... -
Hi guys, My cousin just bought a cherry 03 Mustang GT Auto Vert with only 9k miles. He is looking to maybe drop about a $1,000 into the car for mods. It's 100% stock, never been raced. What would be the best bang for the buck? Tune, Catback, Air intake? I had a few ideas for him, but I'm more of a GM guy, so I figured I would ask some of the pros on here. Hopefully Dyno Brian will reply as well. Thanks, Bill

Need to get 9" center section rebuilt? 4WD Places?
Billiumss replied to Billiumss's topic in Tech and Tips
The noise is very noticeable when going 65+ MPH. I ordered Motive Performance gears and the idiot installed US Gears. Motive gears are known to be the quietest gears, thats why I ordered them. I don't expect it to be perfectly quiet but the noise was excessive. I read so many stories and comments on LS1tech.com that their 9" rear ends were just as quiet as a stock 10 bolt. Anyway, I want to get a set of Motive gears installed. It's all in the way the gears are set up.... -
Hi guys, Last year I bought a 9" from an asshole in detroit, DLS. Long story short, had bad noise/gear whine when driving down the road. Tried to work it out with him and couldn't. Many others from LS1tech.com got screwed by him as well. He wouldn't return calls or emails and beat around the bush. After 4 months he said he would put a new gear set in but it would cost me another $150 more and with so many others having issues with him, I couldn't trust his work so, I declined, so now my car is in pieces again. Where in Columbus would be a good place to take it to get it rebuilt with a new gear set? Any good 4WD places? Babbit Bearing is out. Before I installed it in my car last fall, I had them check out the gear pattern (I paid him) to make sure it was right and it wasn't. When I first had noise issues, I called him up and he really didn't want to answer any questions. I'm guessing because I didn't buy everything from him. I just want a place that has a lot of experience, has been around for a long time and WILL back up there work. Bill
