I don't like the Palm Treo's b/c the buttons are so small. I'm also looking at the Verizon VX PDA. I have a renewal contract coming up so I'd like to get a neat little phone. I got the V when it first came out like 2 years ago and now I'm bored with it.

There are a few techs making $75-80k a year, but you're acutal pay rate you'd have to discuss with the Service Director and is based on your experience and certifications. I usually turn 100-130 hours a pay, at least 100. There is always a chance to make money though.

Brakes and Steering/Suspension. I'm also looking for a raise or else looking somewhere else. I like where I'm at alot, b/c I've heard at other dealerships you have different areas like only one guy does suspension and alignments or whatever. At Saturn we all do everything whatever comes in from maintenance to engine rebuilds. I'd really like to work at one of the newer Honda shops b/c they are just so nice and have really nice equipment. I can't stand to have a messy bay or bench, all my tools have a spot and go back as soon as I'm done with them, it's almost an OCD.

So it doesn't crank, but you can push start it? and when you push start it the car doesn't idle? Could possibily be an alternator and battery, but it would have to be pretty bad.

Anything less than a year experience they start you out as an apprentice and we already have a 19 year old apprentice and they are talking about getting another soon. I'd say he wants at least two years experience and ASE's perferred, but not nessicary.

Who cares? It's all being recycled, isn't that the main idea? I remember someone around here posted something that is you added in the time and effort it takes to pick up a penny and you did it full-time you'd make $12 an hour. Ever since then I've picked up all spare change I've ever noticed, it all goes in my son's piggy bank. I think this is basically the same idea.
