  1. I really like CR. Despite all the hate and sarcasm on this board, it is very helpful. People I've never met have helped me out with personal problems, lended me tools or what not, it is rather amazing.

    Bad with money

Thanks everyone for your advice I'll try some of these things. The pen and paper thing sounds like it would help me a bit so I can visualize what I'm spending my money one. I do eat out a bit, but it's hard not to when you work in a shop and all your buddies are like "Hey Jon we're going to TGI Friday's or whatever local restaurant by work, wanna come?" That's like $10 every day for lunch. I'm going to start cutting back on the eating out. I don't spend my money on beer, cigarettes, or anything else of that sort since I don't drink or smoke. I have recently started thinking of saving up for a house. I'm going to start listening to you guys and just put $200 out of every check in my savings to start building up some funds. Thanks for the advice and input again.

    Bad with money

I'm just curious if any of you have been in the same situation I am and have grown up and learned some thing you could pass on to me. I'm really bad with money. I mean I have no problem getting it, but when I have it, I spend it, no matter what it is. Just on stupid things. When I try to think where all my money went, I can't actually add it all up. I'm not rich, but I'm making pretty good money for my situation. I live at home, the only bills I have are cell phone and insurance. Those add up to about $160 a month. I make about $7-600 a week. I just don't know where it goes. Any advice any of you have?
  4. I have my original window sticker. I can't remember it off the top of my head. It was around 9k, but then had the two-tone factory paint option, A/C, and floormats.
  5. I don't know. I eat a lot each time I go out to eat. That's why Red Robin is my favorite place b/c you have unlimited steak fries.
  6. I went to the Banfield center in the Grove City Petsmart today. It was very nice and the people were really friendly. I went in last night and made an appointment and the lady gave me a certificate for a free visit. It's like $29.95 for the exam or whatever so they gave me a $29.95 coupon pretty much. I'd probably go in and get an appointment and they probably will give youa coupon for a free first visit.

    free gum

lol, pointless I guess, but I got the cinnamon stuff.
  8. True story. This isn't really a horrible job, it's just not a good paying job. I mean if you just got out of highschool and want a nice job to gain some experience to become a tech one day it's pretty good. I worked at NTB for about a year, until I got fed up with the managers and district managers. Davin is right, NTB isn't about fixing cars and helping customers, it's about sales numbers and having 5 credit apps a day, no matter what it takes. But yeah, you only make about $600 every two weeks. But I worked there for a year, now I'm making about $6-700 a week easy at a dealership.
  9. Well to a lot of people a pet is more than just a pet. We paid over $500 to have tests ran just to see if my Boxer could have the lump on her ear removed. Then we had to put her to sleep b/c there was one on her heart. If it was removeable we were prepared to spend the $2,000 it was to have the surgery done.
  10. I got a new puppy tonight as well. I'm going to take him Saturday to the Banfield clinic at the Grove City clinic. I'll tell you how it is. Here's a picture of my new Siberian Husky, he's bi-eyed. His name is Volk. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e397/irockacorolla/volk1stnight011.jpg
  11. It's one of the few that made it across the ocean, landed in the midwest and isn't rusted out. Slow Rear wheel drive Full window rear view mirror
  12. SC TA SC FB SC 57 OH NO Initial plates are kinda hard.
  13. If you looked at the post and looked at the tires, they are generic tires that are called S2000's.
  14. Hey I'd like some information/pictures of the puppy. I had a boxer for 9 years and we just recently had to put it to sleep. I really miss having a dog in my life and I love boxers. I also live in Grove City, I've seen your old car around the car wash before b/c I worked at the skateshop.
  15. Harley's are allowed to be louder than a car, b/c bikes are usually heard before they are seen. It does make it safer for a biker b/c idiot drivers can hear them and realize there is a bike by them.
  16. Sweet deal thanks Anthony. I got the Wheel Cleaner spray, that stuff works really well.
  17. Nah I love working on car. I just wouldn't want younger kids to get into the field thinking they are going to make mad loot. Especially right now there just isn't the work and it's super slow, but it's like that almost everywhere right now.
  18. You don't want to get into the automotive industry it's a dying field. It's the truth.
  19. Don't worry, Richochet is just a hypocrite and likes to act cool in front of his friends and flame Honda's. Just like he does drifting, yet he posted on Ohiodrifting for a while asking tons of retarded questions.
  20. If she wanted a car I'd say either a Toyota Avalon or Saturn Ion. If she wanted a mid-sized SUV, I'd go with a Saturn Vue. I'm a service tech at Saturn, the Vue's are really nice cars and could pull a quad, a guy I work with has a base model and he can pull his quad. I'd stay away from the L series though, IMO they aren't nice cars to drive.
  21. Yep... wheelmedic.com Good company
