  4. ^i want to get semi competitive. The guys I RC with like to bash mainly which is fun. But, I also want to race. I want to go to a practice night in hilliard sometime this week with my RC8te... Anyone?
  5. Yeah, keith was saying something about hitting a track M-F some night where they let ameteurs come and suck... ie - me.
  6. Thanks Wagner!!! keep it on topic dudes.
  7. some guys live asnd Die by the Slash 4x4.....
  8. Best advice... like Wagner said. buy used. SICK deals out there. What do you want to do......? Speed runs with cars? speed runs with trucks? ramp shit at skateparks? drift? race? race with comp-grade stuff? AND, how much do you want to spend to get started? To buy a decent hobbygrade brushless truck will run you 200-300.... same for a car. WORD OF ADVICE - I got back into this hobby with the intent to drift a 1/10 road car..... that was 2 months ago. I now own 1 car and 4 trucks (and a boat) and NEVER use the on-roadcar..... just not as fun. Buy a 1/10 stadium truck or truggy or 1/8 buggy or truggy. cant go wrong. 1/8 stuff is SUPER STRONG.... if you are going to ramp it. PS - DEALS are out there!!
  9. Team Associated RC8T-CE Converted to E. Trinity 1950KV and Hobbywing XERUN 150a running 4S lipo 20/50T pinion/spur combo.

  11. Here's my HPI Sprint Flux2 roadcar... http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/375469_10101207654822084_803995585_n.jpg I never use it...
  12. I searched for RC threads. Seems like a lot of them die off quickly. I have found that there are a quite a few people on here that bash, hit skateparks, etc. Maybe this could be a good place to talk about: RC related stuff, show pics, speed run proof, good spots, and get-togethers. Linn, Keith, and I have been RC'ing just about every saturday for the past 3 months. Been a blast getting back into soemthing i took seriously 10 years ago. Funnest thing yet, driving fast 1/10 or 1/8 scale trucks in skate park pools. I love it. Or, RC boating. What about everyone else?
  13. Rear quarters from a Ferrari and a front bumper from a Lamborghini ... And a body line like a DB8....and shitty looking wheels. Piss water....
  14. Great, way to be the best at being a redneck.... I actually love bowling, but suck..
  15. tell me about that desert eagle...
  16. I dont understand why people buy E-revos brand new. SOOO expensive for what you are getting. You can buy a gently used competition grade 1/8 electric truggy for WAY less. i believe a new E-revo is about 800 bucks.
  17. Oh, another ski and or snowboard shop would be nice. Aspen has almost 100% of that market share right now (of the niche shops). You could incorporate a discoutn plan at local venues as well thus linking larger corps with yours and potentially creating a "draw"....
  18. Not large enough, not enough money in it. What's a food truck do in revenue? 2-300k? Meaning you make 30-50k as an income? Think larger.... Fast food is too fast and resaraunts are too slow... Trendy lined walls (Places like chipotle, piada) seem to be catching people's attention... Though... I'd never get into the food industry. Maybe a brewery? Columbus people like niche things... beer is one of them. Small/local enough to create a buzz.... And could grow to be the next Sam Adams with the right mind behind it. Think global. Besides... Look how many gourmet beer and pizza bars are popping up. You will only see more too.
  19. Are you buying this for your daughter to use? Or, for her to watch you use? Why not buy something cheaper that's not as fast if its sole purpose is to amuse your daughter? What is your budget?
  20. Also, Fabians in the gay district. Good deep dish. And, wholly Joes in polaris. Closest thing to chicago deep dish in CBUS. It's like giordanos.
