Can he actually sell? Or, has he simply been in a role where people bought from him? There's a mighty big difference. Being that a salesperson is someone who has a high "need to persuade" and is comfortable with asking for things. 90% of sales people are actually just order-takers. Which is he? For instance, has he ever had to search for the people he's sold to? Or simply been there when people wanted to buy something?
