you could always try another tb.... I've never heard of boost pushing the blade open before even on a stock one on anything, but if the return spring is weak it could be possible

won't fit in your engine bay without extensive modification the engine is almost a foot longer than the engine bay

I had a gas one for ahwhile too 4spd though the diesel was more fun it would do a burnout at least

my first car was a diesel 5spd chevette highly recomended if you can find one.... if you can't any 3800s/c fwd gm would provide reliability and reasonably priced platform to mod on...

older ones have rust issues in the rear(what ohio car doesn't) they like to eat hg's wheel bearings and axle shafts and they will absolutley destroy tires if you don't keep good struts on them and keep after the alignment..... the average subaru that i worked on downtown was owned by some short north tree hugger and never got a dime put in it towards maint. shop carefully or you'll get hosed find somebody that took care of one with records or get them to come way down on the price

replace the pigtail to the cam sensor they fall apart inside you should be able to pick one up from any auto parts store

i'm not being defensive..... I work at oreilly's (not a junkyard) I set this whole board up with an account to buy wholesale from any oreilly store in the u.s. I'm telling you that I deal with people at all sorts of parts houses all day long and for the most part they are going to be short with you on the phone becuase 3 or 4 other lines are ringing and your not standing in front of them with money in your hand... if you want a part from a junkyard don't waste your time on the phone just drive out with your toolbox and pick what you need. i'm trying to help you and you just want to cry about how people are mean to you on the phone so kid or not you still sound like some kind of punk ass I'm a nice guy on the phone I don't go into any kind of dick mode on the phone...... what i'm telling you is that isn't the way it works most of the time in the parts business

stuck egr valve or bad lockup control solenoid can cause that... could also be starting to eat the timing belt it'll jump a couple teeth on those and still run just poorly
