read again I said one of the better hooking chassis out there a set of control arms and subframe connectors will easily net low 1.x short times
the mustang is also far far far cheaper to mod than a dsm

use the stock specs on the street and change it for road racing......
the specs you have listed will own the inside edges of your front tires in short order
I'll make you a smoking deal on a 4cylinder mustang.....
you could always de-turbo or turn the boost down to like 5psi (about 125hp) untill you feel he is responsible enough to put it back on/ turn the wick up....
its prolly the abs pump if the pedal gets soft, but scan it first and see you can always pull the abs fuse if it gets too annoying but then the light stays on all the time
