I think he's talking about the spike right after it rolls into the throttle right before it drops down into normal too much or too little timing can do that too my 5.0 fell off at like 4k and my base timing was off a bunch

its plastic bushing, if your lucky ford will sell you just the bushing and its an easy fix, if your not lucky you'll have to buy an entire wiper transmision..... to find the broken part first take off the wiper arms and then remove the cowl panel underneath of them if you can take a good clear picture of the broken parts I'll tell you what you need to do to fix it

yep only now it has the nice armrest in it ( was a lifesaver when I drove down to cinci on saturday) and I got it all detailed up so it doesn't look like its been sitting in a field anymore It should be getting painted sometime this summer too

how close are the numbers the cam may be improperly ground or the timing set may be bad......

get a good set of control arms and some subframes and the problem goes away I drive one mustang or the other year round with no trouble.....
