  2. the pads and the rotors usually wear down together in those cars the front pads should also have sensors in them I'm seeing several brake options on this car pads run anywhere from 40-100 in ceramic with the sensors rotors are about the same the sensor in the pads is fairly accurate and a light should come on in the dash when the pads are worn out
  3. yes you need to replace the bolts however with less time invested and probably less money you can just replace the entire engine with a low miler from the salvage yard unless you are repairing an SHO

  6. depends on whats wrong with it if it needs rewound you need a shop if it just needs brushes or a voltage regulator do it yourself you can buy all the parts at napa

  8. fixed I do about 90% of my own work I have to send out painting, welding, and ring and pinion stuff I just don't have the space and the cash for all the right tools for those jobs

  13. went to pick n pull today they had two fairly complete older sho's, 10 or 12 lt1 powered gm's if anybody still messes with those mostly big body cars but I'm assuming the basic stuff is all the same a pretty good deal in the builder section on a 99 3/4 ton ram that won't start and a 1947 plymouth with suicide doors the plymouth comes a with freshly rebuilt engine
  14. soak um in pm blaster or something similar for a couple hours and go back last resort use an air gun to take em out, but I don't advise it unless all else fails
  15. stop hitting the starter the motor is hydrolocked everytime you try to crank it up you take a chance on bending a rod or a valve stem

  22. drain the fuel out of it remove the plugs change the oil and crank it a couple times then let it dry out for a awhlie fresh plugs clean fuel and try again same thing you would do if a car got flooded
