I am pretty sure you can pick up (better) aftermarket skid plates for pretty cheap if that is going to be a deciding factor in which truck you buy. I think when I worked at the chevy dealership front and rear could be put on for less then 200 bucks but that was couple years ago. -
I have a knife in my pocket one in my truck and car. Two in each of my fishing tackle boxes. Enough at home that I always have one within a few feet of me. The NRA sent me this yesterday as well.

I had one for 6-8 years that I just sold recently to a friend. I put around 10-15k rounds thru it. The only time it jammed up maybe 2-3 times. And honestly it was due to improper cleaning.(Or lack thereof)

Dorman Products makes a hinge/pin replacement kit for the blazers/jimmy/bravada. It is pretty common problem and is pretty easy to do.

Great event. First event that I have really even been interested in for a few years. Was nice to meet a few people and my son absolutely loved all the cars there today. Nice meeting you Doc and thanks for the great event.
