Guys, Thanks very much for the quotes and the leads. I'm waiting on a couple of callbacks and then its decision time. Thanks again, Jason

Thanks very much, guys. The 1500 quote included all parts and taxes. I'll give them a ring.

Both are shot. Dealership wants 1500 bucks to repair both. Can I do any better? If so, where at? Thanks in advance. Jason

I'm sure that sentiment makes it alot easier on the thousands of Americans who will lose their jobs. Tell me Rick, why would the world be a better place without Ford? Later, Jason

My dealership is owned by the same company that owns Saturn of Columbus. The waiting list for the SKY is full (first run). You can be sure that whatever engine is available in the Pontiac will be available in the Saturn. Saturn North had the Sky on display 2 months ago in their showroom (Saturn Corp. Promotion) It drew a major crowd and people were throwing their deposits down to get in line. Should be a lot of fun!

They are at it again this morning! State troopers sit at the North end of our Lot (Nissan North) and just pick people off. 2 so far in the last 30 minutes. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

If it were just that simple...

I got pissed when they said the cop should have shot him somewhere other than the chest! WTF?? If I've got a crazy (literally) Somalian coming at me with a knife, I'm shooting the biggest target I can find!

Not a question of if I want it...its what you'll accept for it:) I would be interested though. I'll do the best I can on any car that I have in return. It's the end of the month/year!

I'm the pre-owned manager over at Nissan North. I'm sorry that you don't feel good about the experience you and your girl had. I can tell you that the techs are not going to recommend parts if they dont see a need. I put belts on 10-20 cars a month. I choose not to mess around with them. Your definition of "acceptable" may differ from ours. However, in my opinion, the liability is on our end if your motor dies because a belt slipped or snapped and we never did anything to prevent it. I do my best to treat everyone who stops in as if they were my own mother or father. I think that attitude is held by everyone over at Nissan North. All I can offer is my services if you ever need another voice to speak with about any questions in the future. I hope this helps. Later, Jason By the way, did you deal with Buckeye Nissan or Nissan North?

+1 I like the Solstice, but I think the lines on the Sky look cleaner. http://www.saturn.com/saturn/vehicles/futurevehicles/sky_hi/index.jsp

Where are the Bengals fans, and where did the Steelers fans go?

AFC North Champs! WHO DEY! -
"Can't" never did anything. If you believe in the idea, go for it. Cross all your "T's" and dot your "I's." Make sure you can handle the responsibility. Consult an attorney. If you do not have one, pm me and I can put you in touch with a firm. Good Luck!

EDIT: See my following post. ~Anthony Thanks for checking it out guys. Later, Jason

+1 I have it and it works. I was clocked from the air back in 99. 81 in a 65 just N of Wilmington. Instead of representing myself in a court 100 miles from home, my Pre-paid Legal Attorney went to court on my behalf. The charge was reduced to a 71 in a 65. No points, pay the fine. It works...except in Union County! No deals! Late

And OBVIOUSLY those too games were prime examples of the Indy offense we are now seeing. Hell, that awesome Cleveland D held that sad Colts offense to 13 points. What was I thinking?? Not really a fair comparison. -

Didnt the Steelers get beat on national TV by 19 points? Didnt we put up 38 points on that same defense in their house? Marc, I'm just saying that Cincy has been the biggest threat to Indy so far this year. Late -

Yep, and considering the fact that WE hung 38 on a team that gives up less than 14 a game, I'd say that was pretty damn good. Carson Palmer has patterned his game after Peyton's in that they both run a no huddle offense, I dont see the Dome being a problem. Anyone who follows the game should know its all about MATCHUPS. The 2 teams mirror each other on offense. The Colts D is statistically better, but a +24 Turnover margin for Cincy is the great equalizer. Did you WATCH the game last Sunday? Steeler fans were screaming their guts out trying to disrupt the Bengal playcalling, and they couldnt. Think that place was loud, Steeler Fans? So the dome will be louder. Who cares? Cincy couldn't hear in Heinz field either. Face it haters, Cincy was the best team Indy has played. Round 2 will be just as close. Tom, good luck with the Bears on Sunday. Miss ya, man. Late -

Bring on Indy. We gave them all they wanted 3 weeks ago. All you haters out there make me laugh. IT'S BEEN 15 years people! Let me enjoy this! Evidently, I'm not the only one who thinks Cincy vs Indy II will be one hell of a game. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=bayless/051208 WHO DEY! -
I'm sure China and the Philippines might have a different take on "Japanese Respect" for enemies.

Point well taken. In fact, if we were to have this conversation say 2 years ago or more, I would probably hold your viewpoint. It's a hard thing to describe. When you visit Pearl Harbor, you can FEEL it. Does that make sense? I imagine it would be the same type of feeling visiting the Twin Towers site. I could feel the panic, the utter shock, the lives lost in the blink of an eye. (This was just in the museum) Then, the real experience begins. I believe the US Navy runs the memorial, and as you board the tour boat, you are asked to remain quiet. Enlisted men and women take you out into the harbor. The trip includes passing "Battleship Row," and let me tell you, you can start to feel the emotions overtake you. Once you reach the "Arizona," its so moving, words have a hard time describing. Seeing the huge gun turret rising above the surface, watching the oil slicks that still exist from the Arizona's own oil, and finally, standing in the memorial and reading the names of those men that died...I was awestruck. Suddenly, a 64 year old war doesnt seem so far away. Suddenly, all those stories my grandfather told me about the "Greatest Generation" made sense. I want to be a forgiving person. I want to be able to consider myself a "progressive" person. However, there are just certain places where I will NEVER feel comfortable because of my background. Pearl Harbor strikes me as one of those places where certain others should not feel comfortable. I guess I put myself in the position of those sailors that I was standing above in the memorial. I wondered what the reaction would be if they knew that over half of the visitors walking over their violent final resting spot were descendents of those who put them there. You have to admit, it makes you think! Hey, Doc, I appreciate the response to the first post. I'm not going to say every Asian over there was Japanese. However, the majority were from Japan. It's amazing the number of Japanese tourists Hawaii attracts. Late

I was at the U.S.S Arizona Memorial last November. It certainly is moving. However, what struck me as odd was the number of Japanese tourists visiting the site. From a personal standpoint, if I (as an American) ever visit Japan, I would not make it close to the Hiroshima(sp) or Nagasaki (sp) memorials. It was just weird seeing them there. That's all. Later
