  1. This has been in the works for a while, but things have been on hold while I deal with the Legacy. Thats about to be wrapped up soon and up for sale. I won't really dive in to it full on until the Legacy is sold, though.

Bit of history, for a hot second my dad was in to Porsche 924's and 944's. He had come in to possession of a Porsche 924S (924 with a 944 engine). He had intention of turning it in to a rally car, because obviously, but never got there. He was working on a family friend's fleet of Porsche's at the time as he was the local German car expert. Then he got sick and I don't really remember what we did with it, but eventually he passed away.

At the same time my dad had VW's, Audi's, and Porsche's, we always had Chevy pickups and vans for tow vehicles. I wanted something that was kind of a combination of all the vehicles we had when I was a kid.

I had been shopping for a 944 for a while, but for some reason didn't look in the most obvious place, which is Sean's shop, owned by Porsche and VW enthusiasts. They had this one which had a snapped timing belt and they had been pulling parts off of. I agreed to buy it and give them the engine for a few more dollhairs off.

Interior is pretty decent too minus the dash cracks which they all have it seems.

  2. Hey everyone. I have been in my current job for about 7 years, and I loved it here. I actually worked here back in 2007 as an intern, and came back the second they had a job opening. Then our company was sold in December 2016. There have been many layoffs, including half of our team about a week ago, and I really don't feel safe here anymore, not to mention that there really is no where for me to grow.

My degree is in Network Engineering type stuff (switches/routers/VoIP/etc) and management, but for the last 10 or so years I have been doing more higher tier end user regular IT support (Imaging/Break-Fix/Inventory Management/Mobile Device Setup and Management/Technological Advancement). If anyone has any advice, direction, job openings, or the like I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you for your time!

  3. Used to not have a problem with him, and offered to help spruce up their shop website. They accused me of "coming in over the weekend and eating all of their food", when I had only been to the shop a couple of times and definitely hadn't been there the time frame they mentioned. They then told me to go "piss up a rope".

    He can go fuck himself.

  4. I think most everyone moved to PS4 since it is objectively a better console, at least until the Xbox One X comes out.

I lent someone my Xbox One like a year and a half ago, but I've been wanting to tinker around with Game Pass since I haven't played Halo 5 and a handful of other games yet.

Thanks to the Play Anywhere program, you can buy all the new exclusives on PC anyway.

  5. Fucking depressing, but business is business. Going to Crew games has been a big part of my life since the beginning, even last year I finally had season tickets shared with a friend. I've made many friends in that community and taken part in the Crew fan ran community service initiatives.
  6. I tend to shy new folks away from setting up Kodi, especially if they don't understand the setup process.

My cousin's wife, who is not technically literate at all, setup Kodi on her Fire TV Stick on her own completely without me to help in about 10 minutes with just a YouTube video.

If you can follow directions, you can do it.

  7. Completely heartbroken. I don't think a celebrity death has ever effected me personally this much.

Large chunks of my life I associate with LP music. When I was in 6th grade In The End was the hot song on the radio and I associate that with getting to know my cousin Mark a lot better and we started going to Whempys LAN Parties together. Numb came out around the time my dad died. Collision Course was in the CD player of my friend Brenden's MK3 Supra Turbo which was my first turbo car experience.

    RIP Chester.
