  1. Anti-lag is not launch control. Launch control may be used before, but anti-lag is used while the vehicle is in motion already. Its also worth mentioning that there are lots of different types of anti-lag, it isn't all necessarily the ECU retarding the timing and adding fuel off throttle. See: Any rally car ever. Note the pops and bangs off power and between gears.
  2. I also change the oil in it every year, usually during the first warm months we get.
  3. I've had that exact compressor for about 4 years and its been fantastic. I've rebuilt countless cars with it. The only thing it struggles with is a continuous load like using an air grinder, and in that case you give it a few minutes to recharge.
  4. What happened to the cat drowning person who was on here?
  5. Pretty neat! We had a 924S when I was younger, and one of my dream "to-do" projects is a 944 V8, be it LS or whatever.
  6. No wheel yet, but I've been wanting to build a cockpit. Started watching lots of guys on YouTube with crazy setups and there are some great not do difficult DIY designs on there too. As far as what I've been playing, basically just Dirt Rally, which is the best rally sim since Richard Burns Rally.
  7. I thought this was going to be about a Synergy V8
  8. Definitely considering it if the Legacy sells in next few days. I've been looking to get back in to a MK1 as that was my first "sports car".
  9. Bump: EGR CEL is taken care of, brake rotors have been machined, trying to find a chance to do the wheel bearing. I am also going to drop the price a bit. New price is $3500.
  10. I am always on the side that says "Whatever cheap garbage rotors you can find, and spend your money on quality pads". I like Porterfield's and EBC's myself.
  11. Bump, side skirt has been fixed. Still working on the wheel bearing.
  12. Just a quick FYI. I tried calling Clifford 3 times when I needed something painted a few months back, no answer. Ended up getting what I needed done at C G's Auto Body on Buyers Circle. They did an excellent job.
  13. New price is $3500. 2005 Subaru Legacy Sedan Automatic Partial trades possibly accepted for broken Subarus 187k New (all done in the last 100 miles): - Head Gaskets - Cam Seals - Timing Belt - Timing Kit - Water Pump - Windshield - Decent Tires (pulloffs from my WRX) Bad: Has a CEL for EGR. Basically, M&M Machine didn't give me back the correct heads I took them and I realized it way too late. The heads that are on it now don't have the hole drilled in the back of them for the EGR. Theoretically it could be drilled and tapped and hooked back up and I can include the EGR pipe at the buyer's request. I just have the port in the intake plugged with a factory Subaru plug for now. In addition, the driver side side skirt is missing and also probably needs a rear wheel bearing. This car would make a great daily or classy winter beater for anyone. The engine should be good for a long time. 180k is just getting started for an EJ, especially since the main failure point, the head gaskets, have just been replaced. Should be just oil changes and other regular maintenance! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1567_zpstmfsgvwr.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1568_zpsmz2aqlg5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1569_zps2p6muxev.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1570_zpsmtnt15ff.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1572_zpshvnenf8d.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1574_zpsscv1kt31.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1575_zpsjetqfgb5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1577_zpsckg9ap5p.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1578_zpsmc16tgxl.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1579_zpspiwvdt34.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/MegamanEXE/2005%20Legacy%2011-20-15/IMG_1581_zpsgu6ogaw3.jpg
  14. I haven't tried anything that isn't a Steam game, but some quick googling says that if you add the game to the Steam launcher it will work just fine.
  15. A Steam link would be the cheapest way. If you have a spare older PC that works for streaming too. We have an old Dell Optiplex 755 hooked up to our living room PC that works great for streaming. Played through all of the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot using streaming, and I have been playing Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor in bed streaming over WiFi to my old Macbook Pro. Works great, no perceivable lag.
  16. I purchase literally everything from RockAuto. Its very rare that I get stuff from the stealership.

  18. Not really sure what you're saying, we have nearby rallies. SnoDrift and SnoDrift Summer Rally in Michigan, Rally West Virginia in WV, Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally and the Waste Management Winter Rally in PA, I am sure there are others I just can't think of right now nearby. Back in the day we had Sunriser 400 in Chillicothe.
  19. Wouldn't that be the type of thing that like AutoZone would rent out?
  20. My WRX is 3180lbs according the COSI scale., and the newer ones are heavier, so it seems about right.
  21. My company makes the Sensi WiFi thermostat, and I have bought 4 of them in our in-office store for friends and family and people love them. I haven't installed one myself because my house is a rental, but they seem to work really well.
