Its mainly so that the diff and subframe can be replaced quickly, although strength is an added bonus. Edit: I also just read that they did change the suspension points as well.

This car was built literally over the last 30 days or so. The first rally they are debuting it at is this weekend. Its been prepared for Will Orders, who is an aussie who competed over here last year with his 600 HP Silvia that he brought over with him. I have no idea if these pictures will show up from Facebook, if they don't I will have to fix it. This was just for testing, the car is intercooled now, but has been running on corn since they added the turbo. From another facebook, these pictures were just taken.

This just in, Microsoft backs off. Now all they need to do is come down $100, and they might win some people back.

Yeah, I am a very proud backer of the project. It started out as a documentary about the still relatively unknown/unpopular rally scene in North America, but it has since expanded to include pretty much all rally worldwide. Its being made by Matt Johnston, who is an American rally driver himself. This is the motorsport I am the most passionate about, even though I've been accused on CR of being a "poser" since I don't actually rally (its a very expensive sport, even at the cheapest levels. Someday.). Anytime I can get an opportunity to get it out there, I will take it. It's what I was raised around by a father who was a rally driver and a lot of his friends who were drivers and co-drivers. There will be an official screening when it is done in Michigan, and a rally team in Dayton is trying to put a closer one together, but as a backer I get a 1080p copy of the movie when it's done. Maybe we can have a small viewing party somewhere. Here are some earlier teasers with some cool shots:

I don't know, 5 sucked balls. I bought it the first day it came out, even invested in their $200 wheel for it. Traded the game in the next day and was stuck with the wheel. Good thing it has PC support though, came in handy for Dirt3 on Steam.

Didn't forget Metal Gear, its just not an exclusive. MGS4 is the only one that is. MGS1 came out on PS1/PS3/PC, MGS2 came out on PS2/Xbox/PC/PS3/360, MGS3 came out on PS2/Xbox/3DS/PS3/360, Peace Walker came out on PSP/Vita/PS3/360. MGS4 would have come out for Xbox, except that it is one of the only games that uses up an entire 50 something gig Bluray disk, and would have had to have been released on several DVD's (from Kojima himself). But while we are talking about it, check out the new Red Band trailer for MGSV which will be released for Xbone/PS4/360/PS3 and even PC, featuring Keifer Sutherland as the new voice of Big Boss. Probably NSFW.

They have some good exclusives for sure, I suggest the 3 Uncharted games. The first one is a bit crap at times and occasionally unfairly difficult, but worth getting through because the other 2 are fantastic. Especially if you are a sucker for large setpiece moments in games like I am.
