  1. Craftsteak (MGM Vegas), excellent wine selection, aged kobe beef, excellent sides, HUGE Martinis.
  2. If you have a ccna and a desire to make like $20/hr, send Hwilli a PM and he can easily get you into this spot.
  3. Ok, So I got here yesterday....flight wasn't bad, the directions I got to the hotel are aweful and I got WAAAYYY lost. The concierge at the hotel barely speaks english so he wasn't much help (doesn't speak french either, not that I can). Anyway, went to a dive Indian place last night pretty good grub. Hit the central staton underground for lunch, really cool. I dig the whole, you can walk underground to just about anywhere. Tonight I plan on finding a pub and hoisting a few pints etc... No Poutine just yet, but I did see a PFK (KFC in French).
  4. Its an old story but an effective way to look at a byproduct of a reaction. When you release propane from a tank you get a cold tank....how can I use this. The faster the release the colder it gets..... That is the kind of out of the box thinking we sometimes forget to try.
  5. Did you ask what would create the HALOs? I don't notice it, but then again I knew going in that I had big pupils and had the machine that takes care of that. Which machine does he have?
  6. You don't need to be put out for it, it takes like 2 minutes per eye. glasses - PITA Laser surgery - Life changing event that so significantly improves your quaility of life that you will be pissed you didn't do it.
  7. Invest your time in making the damn thing work. Make calls, get calls, good battery life. I want a better texting interface.
  8. Will they ever stop?? Want to make money off of it? http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/06/11/01/1316231.shtml
  9. So, I guess they will try to take him to court that's probably not a good idea.... I bet Trump calls his best 50 lawyer team in, they will have to get a bigger conference room.
  10. A steering dampener will help with headshake but not completely. Normally this is caused by something not being lined up correctly. If you have changed the suspension geometry and this has started happening I would seriously consider changing back to pre-headshake tollerances.
  11. Trump is flying the american flag.... http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/11/01/trump.flag.ap/index.html

    katies revenge

This should be standard protocol for child molesters.
  13. The timer doesn't start until you roll out of the staging beams.... Your "package" is a combo of reaction time and ET.
  14. That was the last time I went, I am going again this sunday. So, I am still looking for a good steak place or somewhere.
  15. I got them from a scalper outside the Bell Centre. Guy asked if I needed tix, I said yes, he asked me where I wanted the seats.... $50 each club level and that is free food. I was stuffed with Nachos and hot dogs and ice cream etc...
  16. Nope, no french. I have been to a Habs game before, tix were about $50 for club level with free food. (scalper) that was a Canadiens vs Senators game.
  17. I have a friend Peter Johnson that is on the TSA watch list because some other Peter Johnson went to Singapore and aparently the middle east.
  18. Nope, not unlimited data (or atleast that is what the internal sales rep told me). No mac support???
  19. Ok, so I am building a new house "in the country". I am in Hilliard not far from Brown Elementary school. So here is what I have tried and the results. Insight - Not available. WOW - Not available. Time Warner - only basic cable available no digital, HD or Road Runner. Speakeasy T1 available for $90/month at 384k up to 3M at something like $900/month. IDSL (which is a T1) available for the same price as T1. Direcway/Hughesnet available but again really expensive, does VPN work? Wild Blue - Not accepting new customers on my Beam. Verizon Wireless card - My wife has to tunnel into work and aparently you only get so much data per month. Dial-up - NOT BROADBAND but for some reason all of these companies keep telling me it is available in my area. DSL - too far away. Anyone have any other options? If so please provide the company name and I will give it a try. I don't know of any WISPs in the area so I cannot try them.
  20. I am staying in Bonaventure, which is right downtown next to the Bell Centre. I am looking for a good steak house or someplace with a massive scotch selection (cubans go good with scotch). BTW, I am married and not looking for Poutine even though they aren't related. http://www.thumper.net/tlkmag/archive/fun/poutine/
  21. I have to go to Montreal next month on business and was wondering if there is anything I "must" do. I am travelling on the company dime so I wouldn't say expense is something I care about. I am looking for a good place for wine/food and perhaps something fun. I am planning on a hockey game but other than that I have no clue.
  22. While this used to be true, the military has embraced laser surgery as a better alternative than glasses (cause you can wear any gas mask etc...). Photo-Radial-Karatectomy is a disqualifier but laser is widely accepted. Like he said, do some research. I am putting in for a commisioning package right now and they just wanted my post-op report for my med file.
  23. I had the surgery and could see pretty good as I was leaving the doctor, you are almost healed by morning with some dry eye for about 3-5 days.
  24. Actually you can move your eye all you want, so long as you are looking at the tracking light. Flying spot technology means the laser follows your eye movement. I wasn't trying to gross anyone out, you need to know what is happening and what the $299/eye guy isn't telling you. I have seen this surgery make one mistake amungst the 6 people I have sent in, and they fixed him on the next pass. He had to wear glasses for a couple of weeks while the first surgery healed. But, he went with the least expensive option. Put it this way, if you where blind, what would you pay to have sight?
