Anyone interested in going green? What are you doing? Other than replacing most of my lights with CF bulbs I have a few projects in the works. I currently heat with Propane, but I am installing a Geo-Thermal system this summer. This will decrease my footprint from the fuel standpoint but increases my electric use. I want to install a grid tied, solar/wind hybrid system. Just have to figure out who is going to pay for it. I did install solar landscaping lights and stopped running my porch lights. I drive a pretty economical car and am a telecommuter so I don't have too much of a footprint there. I do fly alot but I fly with Delta and they have an offset program (planting trees). I am planting loads of trees etc around my new house and have my eye on a rain-catchment system for irrigation. Also, MAKE just ran an article about grey water irrigation but since I am on a leach field I do evapo-transpiration anyway. So, what is everyone else up to?

Marine means they are sealed and don't slosh. Just get any old deep-cycle battery. Drag racing places often have them. I am interested in this solar project, what are you up to?

Anyone know of a place in Columbus or nearby, that does shredded tire mulch? I want to mulch around/under my swingset.

We didn't have a place to cook so we gave the tuna to the captain. There was a poorish family in town that was having a wedding and could use the fish. I would rather do that anyway.

There is basically one place in town to use this, Netjets. So if this is what you want to do, you will have to move for it. Maybe you should look at the highest demand area and see if you can get an apprenticeship there.

I need to SSH into a controller (think L3 switch with a firewall). Once logged in I need to issue a command to setup an interface as an access interface and ftp code from a server on the same wire. once it is done I need to it ftp another piece of code.
