if you ever need to make your dog puke, put some peroxide in a turkey baster and squirt it into their stomach (do this outside) The thing that kills me about emergency vets is if you call with a problem, no matter the problem, they want you to come in (bring me some money). With a little understanding of basic emergency procedures, you don't always have to come in. If you cut yourself, you can fix it at home. They charged a guy $400 because he cut his dog's toenail too short and it was bleeding. he could have patched it up at home for alot less. They offer no suggestions over the phone, just bring him in.

Also, stay away from the 24 hour emergency vet place over off of Renner in Hilliard. They wanted $1150 to observe him overnight. I watched him for free. My vet said they would watch him for the next 3-5 days at $100/night.

I have a 100lb black lab, have had him since 98. He's a good dog, but he will eat damn near anything. Well, as fate would have it we had some seeds set out for this coming year and he ate them. It seems he is going to either be very sick for the next week and live, or it will kill him. He spent the night throwing up and the vet says it is touch and go. I guess I am bringing this up just to say, if you have a dog and you like it, watch out for what gets left out.

My coworker lives in New Zealand, every few years it is a pain to get visas worked out but NZ is looking for people to move into the country so it is just a matter of standing in line etc...

Actually, I have quite a few VMs that require 4 cores to run properly, having 8 would mean I could run the VM and my local OS at blazing speed. Since more and more enterprise networking/development types are using macs it only seems like the future has more to hold than just PC. I am neither artsy nor fartsy, but I like having a *nix based OS so I can run the types of tools I have to.

My commanding officer for my submarine was one hell of an officer. If he ask me to go with him into battle today, I would do it. I never met anyone that could take a 2 second look thru the periscope and have the exact bearing, range, speed and classification like he could. He would wake up on sundays and make eggs to order for the crew. On the other hand, the Junior Officers we had didn't understand why he wanted to spend so much time getting to know the enlisted guys.

Ok, so I live in the sticks and someone already brings me propane... I guess you mean those small bottles used for a gas grill? I would expect to find out about the service either when I buy my grill/mosquito destroyer, or when I go to get the tank refilled. So long as they can anticipate me running out of propane and having a new one ready before mine runs out, or include a tank guage visible on the exterior so I can schedule a new one today, I wouldn't be interested. I don't really see me having to run a few miles to the store for a new tank as that big of a deal. Besides, I use a charcoal Weber (way better taste).

Problem is, I use my personal line as my work line. So I am on a family plan with a blackberry. My bill is usually over $300/month, I wonder if they can change that for me. Their INTL roaming is WAY too expensive too.

Raul has said in the past he wants to open trade relations with the US. I really hope we do start talking again. That would be one awesome place to have nearby as a vacation destination, Eco Tourism there would be very cool.
