  1. I am pretty sure this is called road rage. Just fucking let her in and let karma take care of her.
  2. Gas is one of those things that we will pay almost anything for. But, since you can make your own fuel out of many different things you probably would start doing that all Mad Max master blaster style.

    Scientology

The only difference between a cult and a religion is how long it as been around. The stuff that Scientologists believe in is kind of strange and isn't based on much. Then again most of the religious stuff in the world is based on facts. Things like food restrictions (Jewish people not eating pork, Fish on Friday, etc...) are based on observations like poorly prepared pork will make you very sick. Some of these things stuck around as gospel. I am not the most bible thumping christian out there but many of the beliefs follow a moral code I can agree with. Some of the stuff seems like stories to captivate uneducated masses, some of it seems quite plausible.

    Laptop repair?

Shine a flashlight into the screen, that will show you if it is the backlight. Take the battery out and try just AC power.
  14. Breezes, pretty much anywhere. Do you have passports? Actually I love the Embassy Suites in Deerfield Beach FL. It is between Miami and Lauderdale. The rooms are awesome, the beach is pretty nice and the pool rocks. Plus complimentary breakfast and drinks at night. For my money, the family never had it so good. Plus you are striking distance to Nasa and Disney.
  15. Also, every email I send sends me an SMS. Not sure what to do about that. Maybe I need to go into the store and ask questions.
  16. Ok, so here is the problem. I go to browser and I get a list Services - email services Settings etc.... Where do I put in the URL? BTW, the 8830 doesn't have a wheel. I open the browser and click the ball and nothing happens.
  17. Hold up a sec kids. If you don't have a $5000 minimum account balance with etrade they charge $20/month for your account. I would think about something that doesn't require a minimum balance. If the company is bankrupt they will go pink sheet soon and be a penny stock.
  18. This depends on the situation for me. If I am on the road I get drunk often cuz it is free, when I am home I don't drink really.

I go to England a few times per year, going next month, I went to Amsterdam and that was a good time. I enjoy England but probably because I know London so well I can get around without a map.

I made it here. Let me tell you about the cool flight I had. I was in San Jose for a week of meetings then I got up EARLY on saturday and flew to LAX From LAX I flew to Seoul Korea. that flight was 13.5 hours. know what is fun about a 13.5 hour flight....nothing! however, the korean air stewardesses are some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I ran the 3 laptop batteries on my Lenovo dead and the battery on my mac. Fun times. I watched a few movies, I slept, I ate. They wake you up to move your seat up when they serve the meal so the person behind you can eat. After the cool 13.5 hour flight I got 2 hours on the ground in Seoul, spent in the KA lounge eating something that looked like food and drinking a sprite. Next, 3.5 hours to hong kong. Got there and had no idea what to do. Everyone kept telling me getting to Macau is simple but I arrived in Hong Kong at 11pm and everything was closed. I finally found a kiosk that had someone working in it. She directed me to a train into the city. from there taxi to the ferry terminal, ferry to macau (hydro-foil very smooth ride). got into macau at 2am, no taxi at the ferry terminal. Macau is basically vegas so I knew if I walked toward the light I would eventually find someone that could help. I hailed a cab from the main drag and made it to the hotel. Checked in and got the last room. Super nice room, very friendly. I had dim som with the team here, they cooked the squab with the head still on (a little strange) I impressed them because I ate my meal with chopsticks (thank you PF Changs). Yesterday the breakfast buffet had an item that made me laugh. It had a little sign that said MAC Chicken. I had to look. Inside the warming dish, Chicken McNuggets, no kidding. I laughed, grabbed my dragon fruit and went on. All in all I have been running full steam since I got here but the culture is very different and if you ever wanted to go to the orient I suggest it. You can go to McDonalds and 7-11 or you can get lost and eat in places that only have local language on the menu. It is very easy to get around and most people want to help you, even if you are an American (you don't find that is true in Europe). Well, at the end of the week I fly HKG - ICN (Seoul) - ATL - CMH. Good times. And yes, this is another thread about me travelling, but I gotta post something right? BTW, half of my class has photos on their desktop of drifters and right hand drive race cars.
  23. Let me give my $.02 on Sandals vs Cruise. Short story, SANDALS. Here is why You are not hearded by the thousands onto the boat at Sandals. You can dive for free (diver, it matters). You can drink all you want (what is that you say, drink all I want, yes) and it doesn't cost any extra. I did a 4 day cruise and racked up $800 in booze (having $5 beers adds up fast especially if you are buying). The food at Sandals is very very good. The down side, the service at Sandals is top notch for the region. It can take 10 minutes to get a glass of water, but the lines on a cruise ship take 10 minutes so it is a trade off. Do you want to go to a beach, you get like 4 hours of that on a ship, you get that constantly at Sandals. There is probably more Julie the cruise director type fun (everyone lets bunnyhop to the buffet) on a cruise but there is a good deal of that at Sandals too. I love Sandals, I wish I could go back. (The opinions expressed are not necessarily the opinions of CR, just some random loser that travels wayyyy too much)
  24. Nope, Howard likes to take random polls of who has what job on CR. anyone have a sign for this guy?
