  1. I have a zip code, but no neighborhood. this does not compute for me.
  2. about two weeks ago hey equalled I go to London every month, the pound costs $2. that's right, everything there is twice as much. Lunch at McDonalds is 5.99, but in reality that is $12.

    I hate Mercedes!!

I used to do warranty customer relations work for BMW, basically (I assume 'cedes is the same) if it gets splashed with oil it is covered. Your warranty is for manufacturer defects in parts, materials and labor. wear and tear isn't covered. BTW, you purchased a premium car, the parts cost piles of money. Just try buying that car thru the parts department.
  4. I deposited over $40k and never heard from anyone. It really depends. If there is no transaction record or the check isn't from someplace like a title company you can bet someone will say something.
  5. why is it that when I am in the US I hear pretty much US only news? When I am in England I hear about stuff from all over the world, US news, and everything else. I was asked by a cab driver today on my way to my customer site at Heathrow, about a problem we are having in the US with the current housing market. I go to cnn.com and the lead in story is about a polygamist, nothing on the front page about Burma. I hate that when I travel around the UK I get to hear about how Americans don't know about this or that. Damn media doesn't feed it to us. BBC for everyone, stop the ignorance.
  6. I bought mine at home depot.
  7. I have been working since I was 14 (that'd be 20 years now). The only job I ever needed a physical for involved boot camp and tech school. Find a small GP and ask them if they can hook you up, or find someplace advertising sports physicals. Urgent Care in Hilliard does.
  8. Probably a varicose vein (not just for old people anymore). Drink Guinness, it'll cure what ails ya. if you have a general prac. doctor, write down all your stuff and go have it checked out.
  9. I don't have the email address of actual people, just botmail addresses sales@blablabla etc... I am not looking for the president of the company, just someone to explain why the sales database that used to say "no service available" now says "digital cable and road runner available" but the install database still says "no service available".
  10. walmart, gander mountain, online etc... or don't bother and tell them fishing is part of your religion (but you have to be teaching how to fish)
  11. It is due to a lack of sex.
  12. I called the schmendrick that sent me the letter stating facilities are in place now. He never called me back after a week. who do I call? Sales = Liars, service ="sorry, we don't care", the only people that are even trying to help me are the billing department.
  13. It was a hunting/fishing trip. I was in cammo for the hunting. Plus, if you look closely, that is issued cammo not purchased. Might as well f'up the free clothes.
  14. emailed service, help, sales and billing. Only heard back from billing who cannot seem to find my account.
  15. one of the pins isn't used anyway.
  16. http://www.bwca.com/upload/AkulaShark-041005-104801.jpg but that's way up in Minnesota....
  17. short story, I live in a remote location. I called about Road Runner and was told, no service. I then get a letter stating they are expanding service to my house. I get follow up letter stating I can order whenever I want because the facilities build out is complete. I order, they tell me a date and time, they NO SHOW. come on, NO SHOW? Are you freaking serious? No phone call, just no show. We call in, "no road runner available in your area". I want to speak to someone that gives a crap about this.
  18. I worked at BMW Financial Services for a while as a second job. Good schtuff. I liked it better than my primary job at the time.
  19. Primarily FDA website. I did mine at Lasik Plus on the east side.
  20. Looks to me like you have one.
  21. ok, so the surgery is pretty invasive. They cut your cornea in a U shape, then flip the cornea up and use the laser to burn the proper shape into your eye, then flip the U back down. It takes about 24 hours to heal. Once you have the procedure complete you can see very well. It is instantaneous. For the next week you can expect dryness as the cornea needs fluid to heal. Once the week is up you may notice some dryness when you are dehydrated. I did my homework and had the proper laser for my eye shape and problem. I don't get halos because I had the right laser, I honestly can say this is the best money I have ever spent and would pay $5000/eye if I knew what it would mean to have this done.
  22. Mine is 5 years old now, paid $1000/eye. Still have 20/15ish vision. I contest, it is the only thing you can do to improve your life on a second by second basis.
  23. Nice, I am actually glad I am in London rather than there.
