And yeah I hear you on the composite stuff, but similar to the paver/concrete idea, it just wasn't worth it for our situation.

I rebuilt my deck and want to 'seal' the wood now. I do NOT want anything with color in it as I like the natural wood color but also want to prevent it from fading as much as possible. Anyone have experience with like a clear sealant or something? Preferably low maintenance and cheap, haha, but I'm realistic.

Post back on your findings. We go to Cumberland or Norris about a dozen times per year as I can't find anything better that's closer but am interested in your findings.

Hit something while at the lake last weekend and bent a blade. Luckily I had a spare with me so swapped it out and kept going but I want to get this one repaired so I have it for the future. Any recommendations on where to have it done? It's a 15" 4 blade brass prop if it matters.
