  1. When I had it quoted it was $600 at Tropical Welding on 5th ave. this was last year.
  2. REPOST!!!! http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43458
  3. The address is 298 N. Stanwood Road, Bexley, OH 43209. It's a mess now but once its back together it'll be awesome. The house has hardwood floors throughout that are in good condition, just need cleaned, and the entire upstairs is wood molding/door/windows, etc, it really flows nice. I'm going to try and continue the wood theme throughout the house by stripping the solid, 6-panel doors and the moldings/trim, we'll just see how time consuming it is. Some nice landscaping, and powerwashing the house will go a long way in the spring I'm hoping. I just wanted to get all that ivy and brush out of the way, like you guys noticed you could barely see the house or the nice stonework on it.
  4. thanks guys, its a great feeling but overwhelming at the same time. Yeah, I hear you on the time thing, I'm just hoping that in 4 weeks I can get the kitchen back together, hvac in, and have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, the kitchen and living room cleaned and painted, those are just the core rooms we NEED to use, the rest of the house I can work on while living there. It just sucks that its so close to winter that I can't plant grass seed or anything and that custom windows take almost 2months to get done, oh well. I'll definitely keep updating with pictures as things progress.
  5. After some yard work... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/End%20of%20Day%202.JPG http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%203.JPG Kitchen as its now... Replacing the plumbing, redoing some electrical, new tile floor, new everything! There were 5 layers of floor in this room, it was PITA to remove! http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%204.JPG That's all for now, I'm over there almost daily, got some more yard work done but its been raining so no pictures. I'll keep updating this over the next month as much of the work gets done, but I just wanted to start this now.
  6. I've always had an eye for one, they're different but I think they're cool in the same way. Anyways, found one cheap around the corner and it seems to be in decent shape, anything to know about them? Are they easily modified? They have the ford 2.3l turbo in them right? What power can you get out of one with stock turbo? How much can the motor handle? thanks
  7. I just closed last Friday, the 19th on my first house, tons of work to do but I'm pumped. It's a 3 bedroom cape cod house in Bexley, one block from the elementary which is awesome for my daughter. Here's some before and some progress pictures... I'm gutting the kitchen, bathroom, entire yard front/back, and doing lots of things throughout the house, including all new windows and HVAC, some plumbing and electrical and a new fence. Luckily I have a little over a month before I have to move in and have family that knows how to do most of it, so we're doing most of it ourselves in spare time. Friday night, after I got the keys... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/1st%20Night%20of%20Ownership.JPG View from driveway/street when I bought it... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/House%20-%20Day%201.JPG Front left view of house when I bought it...its there somewhere, lol http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%201.JPG Kitchen before... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%201%20(3).JPG Another... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%201%20(2).JPG Starting on the bathroom... http://www.columbusht.com/uploads/Day%202%20(3).JPG More to come... ***Edit, holy huge pics batman!!! 9. soooo true...then maybe i'd apply.
  10. i've got a cingular basic phone, works fine, nothing wrong with it, comes with charger, $10. pm me
  11. They do, but like I said, I have SOO MUCH that it literally took up my entire front yard, driveway, and part of my neighbors yard, its crazy. Plus they have to be no longer than 4ft sections and tied up no more than 2ft in diameter. And I like to get it gone ASAP, not wait till next week or something. thanks all
  12. Got a name? Or number?
  13. I can handle $5, I packed this load in HARD, lol. Any idea where Ohio mulches is or a number?
  14. I removed a bunch of brush/bushes/trees/etc from my yard this weekend and have an easy 2-3 truckloads more AFTER I filled 10 trash bins and many bags, so I'm looking to dump it somewhere tomorrow. Prefer NW side of columbus, or near Bexley. thanks
  15. Congrats! I actually bought my first house on Friday as well, very exciting!!
  16. The battery is dead on the bike, can I use a normal car charger or what?
  17. this made me LOL. This man can't bitch about people weaving but you post up about kids on a school bus flipping you off and annoying you....and we're supposed to care? Read your own advice and GET OVER IT.
  18. How about a $136k house? I close tomorrow and I've been getting around $450-$500, sound accurate?
  19. ohh my chest hurts, that wasgood
  20. what i meant to say was the power limits on a blower suck, whereas a turbo setup is basically limitless. a stock motored boosted ls1 could put down crazy numbers...for awhile.
  21. screw a blower, just do bolt ons and spray, or just stock motor and turbo, but sc's are weaksauce
  22. How loud is it? I need a daily but don't want to deal with the omg my v6 is loud syndrome, youknow? If its reasonable, i'm interested.
