  1. I got a $40 gift card to Buca de Peppo (sp?), and 10pc hand tool set, (wrenches/pliers) and couple other small things. I'm happy, plus this is my first job with PAID vacation/holidays, so that's a bonus in and of itself.
  2. had the same problem, driveshaft was bent, and the car was bone stock, I think some previous owner hit something in the road and it tapped it, replaced the ds and it was all gravy again
  3. Care to share how much time/cost was involved, just curious for those of us considering tackling the same thing, would you do it again?

    The flu diet

+1, i had it 2 weekends ago, that shit is deadly, worst thing I've had in years. But on your note, how much food do you eat in one day to LOSE 10lbs in one day, lol.
  5. We did!! It was awesome and not very crowded, plus with got pictures with Santa!
  6. Yeah, it would've saved me a whopping $.00605 per CCF, so i won't be switching, simply not worth it.
  7. Still firm on price? And current mileage? Clean title? Any bodywork?

    Damn Furance

I just had a new complete system installed in my house and I'll be damned if this shit only lasts 2 years, screw that for the amount I paid. The system I replaced was 26 years old and still working, although doubtful it was very efficient but still, I better get 10+ years out of my furnace/ac. no heat sucks though, I dealt with that for a few days last winter at our old apt, with a 1 year old we were staying at in-laws till they fixed it.
  9. I received one from the city of bexley today, what's the rate they stated in your flyer? I'm considering doing it, I need to check my current rate at Columbus Gas, but my dad said he did it last year and it saved him money and the only catch is that your locked in at that rate for the term, which in my paper said until the end of 2008, so basically a year. I'll post back my findings in a bit.
  10. the background music is from somwhere else, i can't think of it now though, good shit for sure
  11. THANK GOD I'm not the only one, lol, we just moved in last week and I'm stressing, but its all good, glad to finally own something. We got small things for the family, but everyone knows how it is when you buy your first house let alone how much work we did in the past month, etc, so they're cool.

    stang+snow=death

yeah uhhh, i did fine in my 4wd jeep cherokee, even pulled a U-eey(sp?) on 270 through the grass cuz it looked like fun and traffic sucked, lol.
  13. Never bought anything from them but they gave me a premium price when I sold my car to them this past summer. Good for that in my mind.
  14. interested, you gonna be at work on thursday?
  15. i've got one, lmk when you'll be in town man
  16. I had something yesterday, I seriously thought I was going to die. It started Saturday night and lasted until this morning, well my head still hurts a little but I'm MUCH better. I was throwing up every five minutes, I couldn't even keep WATER down, let alone a bite of toast or anything, seriously, I'd be puking, try to wash my mouth out with water and 3 seconds later puke that up, it was BAD. I was nauseous and everything all day, I hate feeling like that. I slept more yesterday than I think I have in the past week.

    The new Wip

What's the advantage to the c6 parts? Better than the C5 while cheaper than aftermarket? Just curious. You shooting for 500whp or any sort of goal? Good luck, car looks sweet.
  18. that car is badass....but the song is dope!!!! lol sweet build for sure.
  19. looks good man, shoot me a pm, i need some tile back splash work...
  20. I just had a new HVAC system installed last month in my house and the guys were very nice and knowledgeable, and explained things well. I went with Northland Heating & Cooling off a recommendation from my Dad, and I'd use them again if need be.

    what to do....

That's what it cost them, but if you notice a couple LARGE costs should've been avoided. They paid $8500 for a donor corvette, apparently without an engine/trans, because they bought a $13k ls7 crate motor new. That's over $20k, probably $15k too much. If you buy a wrecked C5, use that engine, and the donor probably will run you $7500, but I bet you could sell a few thousand of parts off it. There's another $10k in paint/wheels/tires. Use c5 wheels, save $2500, and maybe go all out on the paintjob, but either way, there is definitely room to trim there. So cut $20k+ off that and you're right in line with 75% of the people I've read building them spend. They average $30-$40k from what I've seen. Anyway you slice it, a RWD, Rear engine car weighing UNDER 2500lbs with OVER 450hp is WELL WORTH $30k, lol.
