No they don't, I've been running my beemer everyday and haven't had a problem. But it is a general assumption that foreign cars, like the bmw, are more expensive to fix WHEN something breaks, not that they are less reliable. The older bmw's are built like tanks, but Im not sure that I'd pay $4k for that bmw convertible unless its MINTY, as that's what they can be found for in very very nice condition.

I dunno, ls1's are so common place, I'd definitely take one if I could afford a second car of that caliber, but the cobra's are sooooo slick looking and far fewer are out locally. Plus I'm sure 500whp is easier said and done on those than an ls1, right?

What is the hub diameter? My car is 5x114 also and a 45mm offset is about perfect, but I want to check the hub to see if they are the same/those are larger than my car requires and I can get rings for it.

A few that have crossed my mind include a Firebird/TransAm, Camaro, Monte Carlo (prefer SS), El Camino, etc. I'm interested in a rolling chassis or a complete car. If complete MUST be a 350+, prefer a 5.7l. Auto/stick doesn't matter, prefer a hardtop car and a 2door. I went yesterday, saw scott as I was heading out for a bit. At Napa they were giving away 1/2 tickets and I had 4 of them, saved some cash for sure. We'll probably end up going back again today, I agree swap meet was way too small and there are a shitload of cars there, inside and out of the fairgrounds! I got burnt yesterday, lol, but it was awesome, I can't believe some of the price tags on some cars, But they were insanely nice.

it was red, with koni's, rota's and some other things for like $3500, pretty nice.
