  1. derek are you running on slicks or what? i just remember the tbird, lol, c'mon man, its got 12's in it right?
  2. Fuck that, run your mustang, hope it'll break outta the 15's!!! lol. Wait till I get an ls1 and then you're mine! It's too bad we waited this long to get the cobra to Lasota, oh well, it'll be done mid may so still plenty of summer fun ahead.
  3. Jesus, what kind of car is this? Even if ALL 6 guys can pick up and LIFT onto a trailer 200lbs, that's only 1200lbs, Unless its like a ef hatchback gutted w/ nothing, I'm not sure that 6 people can lift a car off the ground onto a trailer. That's totally different than just being able to lift the car up for a few seconds and dropping it back down. My back just hurts thinking about that. good luck tho...
  4. its a VULVA, it ain't racing nothing guys...lawlz
  5. They have beer there? Whaaa? Drinking and driving (racing) ?? haha
  6. or if the suspension is still on the car and its local, why not just tow the car to your place and remove everything, if he doesn't have a problem with doing it at your place and you have a decent garage, it shouldn't take but a day to do it...
  7. I knew Fall would work better for me, which is what I voted for, but damn I feel bad for you guys. If I had ANY sort of car worth running at a track, I'd go, but between all the cars I could take, I doubt any work break into the 14's, lol, and that's just not worth it.
  8. I actually live in the Olde Mill Lakes apt complex now, just behind the CVS off hard/sawmill. lol. What condo did he buy? The ones right across the street in the white complex? Just curious, I see a lot of mexicans there, not that I'm racist or anything, just it looks like its going downhill. I love the area I'm in, and would love to move down by that school, where the new builds are, but as you said, it LOOKS expensive, lol. I'd really like to keep dublin/worthington schools but columbus taxes as well, lol. Tim, what area are these condos? Just curious... I've found PLENTY of condo's/townhomes from 75-100k around Sancus, powell rd/23, etc area, shit if I bought one for $75k or so, and jewed em down a little, I'd probably only need a $50k mortgage, that'd be sweet. Of course that's optimistic, but we'll see... thanks guys
  9. i've always flatbedded it, but I've got forklifts so aint no thang.

    bar tonight

    tomorrow night is better...
  11. I didn't mean to jump all over you, I just figured my question was clear that I knew that Mazda was owned by Ford, but that it was built overseas, so therefore I was unsure... Which is exactly what I thought, an IMPORT but in most basic repects its a FORD. Weird huh?
  12. No shit, but they are like 90% built in Japan and have almost all foreign parts. I remember when I bought my car, one of the window stickers said the percentage of Japan parts and then I got the shippers bill, rail slip, etc, from japan. So i wasn't sure what people considered it. import/domestic? I mean Honda is import but they are built 30miles north of my house...go figure.
  13. The wife drives a Matrix, best damn car I've ever owned. She beats the shit out of it with her lack of driving skills and has put 50k miles on the car and it has never missed a beat. Plus it gets 40+mpg on the hwy. Sure it could be a little better sound insulated, but for under $15k what do you expect. Then again, I haven't had a single issue with my 06 Mazda3s and I'm nearing 25k miles now and I too beat on it being a 4cylinder, but for a daily its awesome and much quieter/smoother ride than the Toyota, for just a little more, but it definitely sucks for gas mpg, good luck getting 30mpg hwy. But what is Mazda considered?
  14. How about cheerleader? i know a hot girl w/ a wet tshirt always helped me keep going...lol
  15. This may be stupid, but since its a vtwin and makes low end power, what's its top speed/how fast would it be in the quarter? just curious, not looking to buy as I don't have any more cash than my offer, but it's fun to know.
  16. Oh I agree, if it were the same cost or even slightly higher for the home I'd RATHER have that, BUT when you work 9-5 M, W, F, and either Sat/Sun and go to school full time on Tues/Thurs from 10am - 8pm and your fiancee is gone from 6am-9pm M-TH, and 6am-4pm friday, then you have a daughter as well, there really is no time to do anything around the house, ya know?
  17. Haven't checked there, but it sounds like we're 4 years to late to get in around our price range. Thanks though, where's your condo? I've been to the house, its definitely very nice.
  18. Oh so if I wasn't planning on staying in this house for a long period of time it wouldn't make sense to do this, correct?
  19. Thanks Joe, yeah I'd prefer no points because its an added cost, but I didn't know if it saved money elsewhere somehow? Steve, no address/more info? PM me man, address, price, condo/any fees, etc...
  20. i'm down for football...anyway, or dodgeball, but screw bball, i suck, lol.
  21. Thanks for the info, when did you close, just so we can get an idea of what rates were like then? Do you happen to remember price at that time? My credit score is very close to yours, although I heard anything about like a 730 is the same, is that true?
  22. mojoe, explain points to me please... i'm probably just going to do a 30yr fixed, w/ between 10%-20% down, have excellent credit, and want to setup bi-weekly withdrawls and then just pay extra towards principal when I can. I see prime listed online is like 5.75%, but realistically, what can one expect? sry to hijack, thanks for the help.
  23. Also, can anyone explain to me "Points" or paying points on a mortgage? I'm totally lost. Thanks Steve, get me an address so I can mapquest because I have no clue where that is.
