I'll admit Akula, that description made me queasy to my stomach, almost sick. I really want to do it, but I guess I'm a puss because that scared me. I'm seriously considering have laser eye surgery this winter. My dad had it about 18years ago, and has been excellent since. My eyes aren't nearly as bad as his were, and technology has come a long way, so I'm looking forward to never having to wear glasses again. If you have had the surgery, or know someone that has, can you relate to me any positivies or downsides to the surgery? Who performed it? What was it like, how long was recovery, what did it cost you, etc? I'm thinking of going with Lasik, and I think it'll run me between $3-$4k, from what I've heard. I'm ready to schedule a meeting/consultation with some doctors this coming week, to get some answers and more definite costs. Thanks for any insight guys...

The kits look/sound identical, but there's a big price difference. Proform, $125 Flex-a-lite Black magic - $225 Anyone have experience with either of these? Or opinions? Thanks

A friend of mine wants a project car, but for whatever purpose he wants a FWD car. I'm trying to steer him away from it, more towards RWD/AWD, but I'm out of suggestions on the cars/possilby power from them, so I'm looking for suggestions. He wants a mid 12 second car, obviously if he buys the car for $2500ish it most likely won't run 12's, so he's going to mod it and have fun with it, he just needs a good platform to begin with.

Is she/you the original owner of the car? Has the car been kept up maintence wise? Have all receipts, etc? Does the car need anything other than the rear bumper mishap? Smoker car or no? How are the tires/brakes? Does the AC blow cold/heat hot? Any major issues/problems with the car? I'm interested...what side of town are you on?
