I want a bike, but only have around $2500 to spend. I saw the Ninja 250R online and people said it was a good starters bike, is it? If not, what should I look towards? I liked the idea of it being within my price range new, but it doesn't sound like a fast bike, how fast is it? Where/what are some local dealers in columbus that I can go check them out? I'm taking classes/getting my license this winter and want to start riding in the spring. thanks

Jesus, how did he NOT rip off the rear bumper or at least BREAK something coming down, LOL. Anyone know why it squats harder on one side than the other? Also, why do people NOT put wheelie bars or whatever on their cars if they do that? I mean seriously, its cool and all but wouldn't he run faster if he didn't allow the front off the ground?

could be the shocks/struts, the car could've had lowering springs before on the stock dampers, and that hurt them, or its very possible that w/ 70k on it they are going out, especially if its had a hard life, possibly some winter/offroad time. I'm sure if they REbalanced them they are fine, but you could watch them balance each one and weight it, to make sure. Otherwise, take it to derek, he'll help ya/

you do realize the car came factory with a supercharger, right? So unless you went with a bigger blower, or a ported one, what's new/modded about it? Also, how do you know it pushes 13-16lbs of boost when the digital factory one reads up to like 11? Have you ever scanned the car to see how much KR you're getting from your "13-16lbs" on an otherwise stock car? And I'll give you $500 if you'll agree to have it dyno'd at Dynotune anytime soon to prove that it's not putting out 300+ to the front wheels. To help you sell your car, it's better to list the mods, rather than say bolt-ons, so what is your EXACT modification list include? I'm interested... What size pulley are you running for your "13-16lbs of boost"?? For the exhaust, is it just mufflers? Or do you have a larger DP? ubend delete? catback, etc again, be more specific, it really helps! Well now that my rant is over, hopefully some people will get some educated answers and you might be able to sell your damn car!

No. NA now with all the bolt-ons, like hoblick said, and others, this is fowler's old car, and runs strong, Again it is a project car and I feel is priced accordingly, if not a tad low with all the mods included. Will update the post later this evening if I've made any progress with the other car.

Ok, I'm not 100% sure I'm selling this, but if the car I want to buy this weekend is still available, and I buy it, I will be selling the mustang. So, with saying that, the car currently runs good, albeit a little rich, needing a tune, but it hauls. The car is currently in primer, and has LX bumpers on it. I have the original GT bumpers/molding, and a few extra body panels. The interior is also semi put together as well. We started taking it apart in preparation of doing a complete paint job this winter, and therefore it being in pieces. Don't worry, I've got all the pieces to put it back together, and if its necesssary to the buyer, I'll spend the day putting everything back together. Car is rolling on 17" gt wheels w/ 245/45's all around. Here's a rough mod list, just so you get an idea. newer 302 installed in sept. edelbrock performer heads E-303 cam new lifters and pushrods gt-40 explorer intake manifold true double roller timing chain underdrive pulleys 73mm mass air and 24# inj. SCT chip, needs tuned headers, o/r h pipe and flowmasters qa1 12 way adjustable rear shocks kyb quad shocks racecraft springs tubular upper and box lower control arms 3.73 with rebuilt limited slip all 5 lug conversion with rear disc brakes world class t-5 with pro 5.0 shifter spec stage 3 clutch and adjustable quadrant assb a/c delete, no smog or egr stuff. caster camber plates many regular parts replaced since i've owned the car, starter, alternator, wiper motor, water pump, balancer, pcv valve, all filters, plugs, fpr, etc... Unless its a dry sunny, semi warm day, I would not recommend driving the car home. Trailer it please if interested. Clean title is in my name and in my hand. **Again, this car is ONLY for sale IF I buy this car this weekend, if not, and people are still interested, I **might** sell for more, but otherwise this is going to be my winter project, like it currently is. I'm only shooting for 500ish on spray out of the 302. No clue what it puts down now, but once I get it cleaned up good and change out a few things, I'm hoping she puts down 300+ at the wheels NA, I get very confusing answers out of people so I have no clue, the only way to tell will to be get it dynoed. A 351w would be nice, but I don't think its worth it. Spend the money you'd spend on buying a 351w and swapping it in the car to build your 302, or at least freshen it up.

why not put some all seasons on the stock wheels then you can get nice 17/18" wheels for the summer. Don't bother with snow tires, this is ohio and you now have AWD. :thumbup:

you should try and find stock parts off an sti, i'm pretty sure things like the uppipe are more efficient, i think because they are catless? and the exhaust would probably be a decent upgrade, I think its 2.5". I forget alot of the research I did last winter when I was looking at buying a subie, but most times people sell their stock parts cheap and they would make for a great starting point. Also, things like the stock tmic off an sti, etc. a friend of mine did that with his car and basically had a cobb stg2 car and it was quick, not fast, but definitely a 13 second car if he figured out how to drive it. From a low roll it was awesome too.

are these cobb stages your going off of, or what? I'm not sure about the straight pipe, definitely wouldn't be sleeperish, plus unless you do the muffler/resonator with larger inlets, it'd be stupid. what about just a 3" DP w/ cutout, that way you can have it quiet/stock looking, but have the power when you want it, you can get a manual or electric one.

they make regular exit exhausts that are hi-po, most of them are polished tho, I might leave the tip polished, but the muffler/resonator/suitcase whatever, spray that flat black, ftw.

More expensive for the same amount of power, only benefit is awd. More power to you man, they just aren't cheap to mod. Chip it or do whatever to up the boost and we'll run them, sound good?
