Thanks for the input. I couldn't get one without leather, so premium is a must for me. I love the wheels, and I glanced at the performance pack stuff and only thing I think I would miss is brembros. Everything else is a common upgrade it seems. Besides I'm not looking for a race car, I've had a focus st for the past 3 years so I'm sure this is faster stock for stock. Interesting...guess I'll see how it drives but the suspension is vastly different on the 15+ models, right? Not looking for a race car, just a fun cruiser. Sounds like you went the route I'll most likely go, drop it a little and make fun noises and that's about it. I love the look of the wheels so guess I'll have that trade off for mpg's. I'd prefer a vert I think, but at a 10k premium price tag I'll be fine with a coupe.

Did you pay? I know we have quite a few owners here....I'm trying to get a ballpark of what people are paying for these things. It's a manual, GT Premium, with only options being 3.55's and 20" foundry wheels. MSRP is $40k but nobody pays sticker....what should I shoot for? Any reason to buy a '17 over a leftover '16? Anything you wish you're car had options wise? TIA

Appreciate all the input, I like the looks of the gold bike better compared to the blue one. Realistically it's not like I'm shopping for a corvette or porsche, I simply want something that I think looks cool and is fairly comfortable for an afternoon ride around with my wife on the back. I'm not joining a MC gang, I'm not riding to Deals Gap, I'm not going to race this thing, I just want to feel the wind on my face and enjoy some cruising.

+1 to this!!

Wife and I have been talking about this for the past few years. We're on a 7-10 year plan and our top picks are Tennessee, Texas or the Carolinas.

Nice, show us some interior shots!

Looks great Tim!

Wow, new car for $99/month? Like nothing out of pocket? We did 3yr/36k and it was also $240/month with no out of pocket. It's a nice car for my wife, and really didn't seem bad for the money.
-
^^Agreed. Curious what people leased for....term/miles. This was our first lease so we just did the 36month/36k lease, but are most doing that, or shorter or different mileage? Wondering where you get the most bang for your buck I guess.
-
Lol we leased my wife a RAV4 as well, first lease for us so I'm of course curious how it'll all work out. Please keep the thread updated so I have an idea of what to expect.

Thanks for the links. First one is overkill for what I want, 2nd one is more what I'm looking for but I can get a new 4x6 with mesh floor and ramp for $465 so still a bit too pricey. $300ish is where I'd want to used, otherwise I'll just jump on the new one and not have to worry about fixing someone else's stuff.
-
Did you buy it like decades ago? They don't even have a 6x8 trailer and the cheapest one I'm seeing is $300 for a 4x8 and I'd still need wood and hardware to attach it so it'd be like $400.
-
Yeah I've been looking on Craigslist but we all know how that goes. Tractor supply has a 5x8 with ramp for $600 so I'm using that as my gauge on used pricing.
-
Looking around before possibly buying a new one. Something in the 4'-6' wide by 6'-8' long for using around the house. TIA

I'm 5' 10" and 265. I'll keep that in mind, thanks for the input. A friend told me about the Stryker's and Raider's and they look cool and seemed to priced good so I've started looking at those too.

We do this in the Ohio Cobra Club. They have 'cruises' a half a dozen times per year. Most are most of the day but you can break off anytime. Typically have 10-20 cars and take scenic drives with a stop somewhere for lunch/socializing and then a scenic drive back. I'd say typically put 100+ miles on the car per day.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting back into riding and was going to keep my eyes open for a good deal with the weather changing. I like the styling of the HD Vrod/Nightrod and the Suzuki Boulevard M109R. Basically I want a sport looking cruiser that's comfortable to ride. I've never been on either of these bikes however, just going based on looks. I'm also trying to stay around $5k as I don't feel the need to spend more or have a payment on a toy that won't get ridden as much as I'd like. Any input is appreciated, from mechanical to ride quality, etc. OR recommend me something else.... Based on a quick search I'm looking at early-mid 2000 models with 10-20k miles.

I'm looking to get my car aligned...should I just call in for an appointment?
