Loved our 08 Quest while we had it, nothing else could come close to that much interior space and comfort while getting such good gas mileage. Only downside is lack of major towing capabilities...which is important with a boat.

Ford Focus. Easy to work on, pretty reliable, safe as far as I know, and best of all cheap! Get her a ZX3/ZX5 since they look cooler. I had one for my first car 8 years ago and sold it to a buddy in 2004 and he's still driving it to this day. That's over $2000 for a normal 2 car garage floor! I'd rather spend the $50-$100 once every year or two and do it myself. Hell after doing it once it should only require touchups in the future, so can't be that bad. My dad did the stuff you buy at lowes and just spread/roll out with a paint roller like 8 years ago in his garage, which is like 35'x100' and its held up fine through multiple cars, trucks, bikes, boats, motorhomes, shelving, furniture, etc etc. Just my .02

My dad bought his Factory Five Cobra Kit car for $16k running and driving, 3 years ago. Granted over the past three years I bet he's spent that in upgrades, but still, it was fun to drive when he originally bought it.

The timing covers between the mustang 302 and gt40p motors in explorers are different, so now I'm in need of a new alternator. My motor is out of a 97, so something close in that year would probably work. Cheaper the better, thanks.

I like it too...but not for $15k. For that kind of money why not just buy a CTS-V, probably way less headaches. I think for the $9k it's starting at it'd be a nice car.
