Go to McNichols.com. They have the largest supply of expanded metals, perforated metals and alike. They even have some decorative. If nothing else they show all of the sizes and specifications so that you can pick out the correct material for your needs.
I will manipulate the ladder so that we will not meet them in the semi finals again. The damn sportsman ladder with a 9 car field is one of the only sportsman ladders that have the #1 and #2 qualifiers on the same side of the ladder.
They were right, you destroyed them on the dyno. I have done that in the past. Another tip is you never dyno with slicks, they will do the same thing. I only dyno with old junk tires. I always save a pare of takeoffs. Even if you had not have had the rubber delaminate, the sidewalls would have been destroyed.
I only use about 250 gallons a year as I heat primarily with wood. I filled up in late june at $1.69. If I remeber correctly pre-buy was in the mid $1.90 range. I never buy enough to pre-buy so I don't pay close attention. It was crazy last winter. I know people that had there tanks run out when there carrier didnt have enough the propaine to deliver any.
I dyno the car there and they welded some aluminum supports on for me. I have been friends with them for years.
They were right about the hotside lol. The car definitely doesn’t work.
Great job on the video Brian! The car was on rails that day, A to B smooth as glass.
I am not a fan of most of Cali. It is a big place and there are some nice areas but there are some real sewers. I spent a couple of months there in the 80's working. We hired locals for the craft helpers and laborers. By the end of the job every one of them were on light duty for some trumped up bullshit. Bunch of lazy freeloaders.
The good luck comment was directed at having out of state plates. I got pulled over and the cop told me, by there law the first day you start work in their state you have to have a cali plate.
The guy doesnt even have a decent converter and you call out the big guns? The converter being to tight is the starting point if you are going to buy parts
Have you tryed leaving it at idle until the second from last bulb. Then flooring it to try and flash the converter. If you can time it where the car just about overpowers the brakes at the same time the lights drop it can yeild a stronger launch than loading it on the brake
white vinegar and lemon juice are acidic.
We regularly use sulfuric acid at work for rust removal but any acid will do the trick. The more aggressive the shorter the soak time. Home depot muriatic (hydrochloric) acid would be great. the chemical reaction releases hydrogen and chlorine gas so keep ventilated.
