LSX motor city rumble with Pritchard bro's ultimate street car shootout was in Milan yesterday. I won the 9.0 index class, there were only three of us. it was the first time out this year other than 4 shakeout passes on 8psi at 42. First pass off the trailer 15 psi of boost, ran a 9.17@157 with a really soft 60' 1.52. I was so close I put two more psi on the launch and ran a 9.04@157 with a 1.46 60' the 60 was still pathetic but I didnt want to make any changes, trouble was I was out of Co2 for my boost controller. I made my last qualifing pass with no co2 and a 2# spring in the gate. It only made 12psi and ran a 9.24@150 and a 1.44 60'. found out the track had co2 so I was then back in business for the eliminations. I was top qualifier so I had the buy in the first round, I ran it out anyway I really needed the seat time 9.014@157 1.46 60' In the finals the vega tried to kill the tree, his car was slower and I had been having trouble on the tree between having not raced since last sept and the sportsman tree I redlight a couple times. Rock daddy red lit and I cut a .031 light with a 1.43 60' I saw he had red lit so I cruised through the traps. The stuff I am running was bought over a year ago. The key is keeping the drums sealled and off the floor.

There is a distributer in wooster that sells it buy the 55 gallon drum. I can post the information if you like. It isnt top secret or anything like that, I dont have the information with me at work. The name is Santmyer oil company

I get it in wooster, it runs around 2.50 per gallon. I gave Mark the hookup on the distributer. Matt last year you ran E85? Are you getting the E98 from the wooster hookup?

Yes I did, thanks for the compliment. It runs in the low 170's when cruising. It also made a huge drop in the inlet air temperatures, I was hoping for a gain but it dropped them down to ambient, really a surprize.

Most people have no idea of the dynamics of force induction. If you were side by side in a car show me at 18psi the car next to me with shit for cam, head intake etc and needed 30 psi to go slower everyone would be all goo goo eyed about the "but he runs 30 psi"

It made around 675 with 8 psi 820 at 12psi 968 at 15 psi car only made (880 at 15psi last year) there were 4 pulls around 18psi all were over 1K two were 1029 Thats only a 60hp difference on the last 3 psi Ill download the graphs later and post them with the boost and air fuel on them.

Without that lip it will never hold 20 psi of boost! Oh wait it is a cold air intake lol. If you need a source for randon silicone hose let me know. I bet IPS would have some laying around also. No need to contact the vendor. Ill bet if you watch you will see him selling it later.

Went to 42 tonight. Was only running 8 psi, I only have about an hour on the engine but the trap speed in the 1/8th and 1/4s within a half MPH Track was terrible saw big tire car blow the tires off lol. Best pass was a terrible 1.6 60' 9.8@142 ran 112 in the 1/8 Made five passes in two hours, all in all the car felt solid.

Friday two pro mods and a pro stock hit the wall. The one pro mod was almost to the traps when he got out of the groove in the left lane, swung hard to the right was up in the air a good ten feet and piled into the concret with a big fire ball. Cant believe he lived.
