They are a relevent band, as where the Stones and Springsteen. The only venue they should still be playing is the Rock Hall of Fame. It is a matter of integrity not money. Knowing what they stood for in the 60's and 70's then seeing them fighting for breath, attempting to keep up with the music is a sad sellout.

Why do truly Great bands feel the need to play at the Superbowl and embarrass themselves. The Who sang"I hope I die before I get old" in my generation. What they should have said was I hope I die before I make a fool of myself at the Superbowl.

Here are the rules on the ohio's fastest list I keep on LS1tech. It was a couple years old so I am asking all to reply that they still meet the rules that is why it is messed up. Matt you have 5 bolt heads, it makes a HUGE difference. I found a set of the ARP L-19's on LS1Tech that were never used for $300

True But L-19's cost twice what a regular ARP stud kit cost. A-1 tool steel studs cost twice what the Arp L-19 cost. Over 1K for stock diameter head studs (what I was quoted) is one hell of a lot of money. For the record A-1 also sells regular 8740 studs for the LS engines not just the tool steel studs.

switch to L-19 (tool steel) head studs. No machining needed with this option. Other option is use 1/2" head studs. Pull some timing, add some octane, colder plugs. What do the plugs look like?
