if your looking for 700 or less rwhp there is no reason to go larger that 347. IMHO I have a 408, lunati crank with lunati pro billet rods, wiseco nitrous pistons. I almost went with the aluminum block for weight reasons. I am REALLY glad i did not. when i blew my head gaskets out last month it eroded a portion of both of my heads away. if i had an aluminum block it would have destroyed the deck and i would have had to pull the engine. for me you just cant replace the sound of a big cammed car at idle. I think turbo cars are bad assed but Im still hooked on nitrous. If your on a budget you could use youre current setup. Get some good pistons and rods, a nasty cam with some good heads. get a stand alone fuel system and a direct port with a progressive controller and you could easily make your stated goal. I say direct port because i think anything over a 175 shot should be direct port. or a victor style single plane.

I think i would be on both lists. As for streetable i drove this setup to bowling green 400 miles each way. Raced at LS1tech northVsouth and drove it home last summer. As far as a dig I can cut 1.4 60' and from the roll considering my trap speeds and what i saw posted after norwalk I believe i'm more than "competitive". I can and do street race. My car is again running it's also on the trailer ill check it over good at dragway 42 tonight. If the poster is interested in making his nitrous f-body fast he might be better served with pm's. if everything works out i will be in columbus middle of the month and we can see if my car rolls

I blew the head gaskets on both heads and eroded a huge chunk out of 2 cylinders on the heads one on each head. I welded them last night at work the heads are at at the machine shop. I had head gaskets fedexed. It will be close because these copper gaskets have to be re-torqued. Big thanks to John for getting me in touch with Phillips racing they got me the gaskets in a hurry

I was there monday and there are no construction issues. That take 71 to 250 at ashland then follow 250 as it joins 13 at fitchville. a couple miles later at OLENA you want to turn right on greenwich-milano-town-line road. this is just as your entering OLENA. there is a red barn with a big ohio logo on it on the left side of the road.this road takes you right to norwalk racepark. I should be there early also.

There is an ad in the (mansfield) News Journal. The ad is also a coupon it says community appreciation weekend. The ad is good for fri,sat and sunday. With the coupon your entire carload of people get a one day admission for 15$. If you use it on sunday you get to make a lap on the road course, not to be confused with a lap dance lol. You guys may want to hit the convenience store and see if you can find the paper when you go through lexington.
