Hello, I live in lexington about 4 miles from Mid-Ohio sports car course, I just moved from mansfield last month. i bought my car new and started modding it right away. some of the people on the board know me from COFBA. I like to drag race. I havent done much street racing the last year or so but I do enjoy it when i can. I dont get out alot because I work 7 days a week, only get 2 days off a month. I like track rentals the best and look forward to racing some of you later this month.

Put me on the list ;-) I can pick it up where Linn leaves off. I dont want to waist my time with a 12 sec mustang that can't even make enough power to do a decent burnout lol

There is a press release stating IHRA is moving the world nationals to a new drag strip that is being built in mansfield oh. It will be part of the circle track complex that is host to a nascar truck event. the new dragstrip will reportedly be much nicer than norwalk. This may be good news to all as last year norwalk jacked there track rental fee's out of sight. Hopefully the competion will force them to lower there rates or the new track to have lower rates. That and its in between columbus and cleveland.

How is it any different than driving a semi??? alot of weight with proportionatly very small brakes. want to bet that any of the setups i listed would stop faster than a fully loaded semi? Just a matter of learning how to drive with what you have. it's not my fault you havent been behind the wheel long enough to now how to drive

no trailer brakes, Ive towed alot between my boat the 4 horse trailer I used to have. 1989 full sized blazer, equalizer hitch. heavy ass 70's trailer with 4 horses and shit trailer brakes in the mountains lol you learn fast or die lol

I had trouble with the felpro gaskets. I blew the first set at 500 miles. about 1200 miles later when i had the heads off agsin for the broken ferrea shit valve springs the new felpro's had shown signs of bubbling in the same area. I know your issue was due to the studs but i still think you should look at the cometics. IMHO

I have an 02 with the 4.2. I was really surprized at how well it tows. I have a 19 foot boat. I also pull my car with it. The car and trailer are about 4500#
