That might be true...I am not sure mine is a 00. Go to clubgp.com and search for fuel resistor. That where I got all my info. Good luck.

Mine stalled out like that and it was the resistor, easy fix for $15. I would try that first.

yeah it is blue and james did hook it up......all this trouble is without the window switch. It ran fine on the dyno a week before.

will a rebuild kit take care of my problem?

Every gear but 4th and its all the time. ITs been doing it for awhile (few months). I know I need to rebuild my tranny I am just wondering if it could be something else that is whining.(clutch, rearend, ect.) Tahnks

how much for the explorer intake? Is it in good condition? I am interested.

LTZ 400 - My brother has one and I haven't seen him lose a race on it yet. He has raced a 250r, Banshee, Raptor, Bombardiar ds, etc.

 

I am personally partial to the raptors though.

how much for the clutch and flywheel? That will fit an 89 5.0 right?

Well I am not sure what is going on but the tranny whines REALLY bad. My car sound like its s/c'd but its not. I don't know if its the clutch or tranny. I have the money to fix it I just don't want to fix what don't need fixed. Anybody work on these that could drive it and tell whats to do? Thanks

Its not my car...its corys mach1. I was just stating the problem, b/c he dosen't have access to a comp like I do. Hes my brother for those who are wondering.

it cuts in and out between 4k and 5k rpms. Feels like its missing.

My brother and I will be there. No racing for us though. Look for the blue mach 1.

I need to sell the rims and tires off my 89 5.0. They are the turbine rims. The rims are in good condition and the tires are almost new. Make an offer. Thanks
