To me, getting a lawyer and trying to fight dosen't show remorse. I would recommend just letting the state appointed lawyer (free) represent her and listen to their advice. They are usually pretty honest about your chances. If they feel you have a case and could plead down then go for it. But Iwouldn't waste a ton of money trying to get out of something you obviously are guilty for. I deal with OVI's everyday and from what I have experienced her best bet would be to show she has responsibilities and is a responsible person. That will get her privilages. People that fight DUIs and have obvious evidence against them (like a BAC of .122) really piss judges off. She will more than likely get suspended jail time, probation, DL supspension, and fines.

True. A DUI is only a felony on your fourth in 6 years. If you get to that point you deserve to be in prison for awhile.

linn - you are right but you don't notice the money unless you get a big chunk. I could claim 1 or 2 and have them take out much less, but that would be part of my check and I would spend it as such. It is so much more rewarding to get $5k back in one lump sum. kinda like the lottery, when I win my millions I would much rather have the lump sum then the 30 year pay out. I guess us that have to live paycheck to paycheck like the big checks that are above and beyond what we normally make. if I didn't have to worry about money all the time then I would do exactly what you are saying. kinda crazy I think.

I think your car is alittle faster than 13.70.....the cobra you beat last weekend ran a 13.3 and he has added more stuff since then. By the way....I was the driver of that cobra.

I believe he asked for your "trap speed". How fast did you go in the 1/4 mile. That looks more like a reaction time. If go from a roll I don't think you have much to worry about. From a dig would be close, if he has gears. Good luck though.

Damn, I wish I'd have known you guys were out. I drove all over hell's creation looking for some cars to play with. I passed hooters around 10pm, no cars there. So I drove all the way up to polaris looking for people, with no luck. ah well.

 

 

Actually austin, Cody's car and Corys car was at Hooters at 10 pm. We were eating there. Everyone was in the schotenstien (sp?) parking lot. When we left. Have your car out?

here is the thing.

 

The worst thing IMO is not the kids being stupid and reving their engines and pelling out leaving. The worst are the followers. People who follow other out of the lot if they see a few cars leave. They will follow you from spot to spot. If no one came up to you and told you what was going on or that a few are going somewhere else don't be gay and follow someone.

 

 

This happened sat. Four cars knew we were racing and by the time we got on 270 there was 30. They must have some sort of radar that tells them whats going on. Why drive like idiots? I just don't understand.

Where was every one saturday night? I was out in a white 99 cobra along with my brothers mach1. Had a pretty good time. Cops started to pull people over when they were leaving for what seemed like no reason. If anyone on get got pulled over I would like to know why. So we left while he was busy. Haha.
