  6. I'm moving next month and am looking to unload some of my campus days stuff. I've got a bunch of beer mirrors, tins, banners and such. I've got a few of them pictured below. Make me some offers. Oval Stroh's Mirror (plastic frame) - $20 obo http://img173.exs.cx/img173/4513/10003900pz.th.jpg Heineken Mirror (palstic frame)- $10 obo http://img173.exs.cx/img173/9863/10003942np.th.jpg Big Lowenbrau Mirror (My favorite of the bunch) - $35 obo http://i158.exs.cx/img158/250/10003978zj.th.jpg Huge Miller Reserve Mirror (Rare)- $35 obo http://i158.exs.cx/img158/5460/10004088pb.th.jpg If you have any questions just ask. All mirrors have holes in the corners from where they were mounted to the wall in my campus apartment. Not a big deal since you will be able to use the same holes. [ 18. 7. Run him before he gets some practice. I bet from a dig he dumps it and spins bad.
  8. Can anyone confirm this? I planned on going but if it's 1/8 mi. only forget it.
  9. The factory exhaust studs have big "shoulders" on them, preventing the drivers side from sealing tight enough in a lot of cases. You can replace the studs with different ones (Napa sells them), pull your stock studs off and cut/grind the shoulders down (what I did), or enlarge the holes on your x-pipe flange and use washers. BTW. I'm running a Dr. Gas X with Ultra Flo's.
  10. From a VERY good source, the new Cobra will be a supercharged 5.4L 4v motor with a slightly different head casting allowing clearance of the shock towers. Should put out @ 500 hp graemlins/nod.gif
  11. I'm not dead set on all seasons, but their performance ratings on tire rack have intrigued me. They are all ZY or ZW rated, have dry traction ratings higher than alot of the typical z rated summer tires, yet have the ability to get around in the off season as well. Too good to be true? Probably, but thats why I'm asking for opinions and expieriences with them. I don't trust the tire rack ratings. Heres the deal, I live in an apartment and don't have a garage. Therefore, I don't have a place to store an extra set of snow tires and wheels, nor would I be easily able to swap back and forth between the two. I agree it is a comprimise tire, but thats what I need right now. In two years when I have a house and garage, then yes I will definately have two sets of tires. But until then, I need to "compromise." From what I'm reading, the tires I listed are every bit as good (actually alot better) a performer as the tires currently on my car, plus they have the benefit of being all season's. I don't really feel that I need all season's, I've only got stuck once (thanks for picking me up Eric) and that was on the stockers with 45,000 miles on them, but if the all seasons actually do perform better then my current tires, then why not?
  12. Looking to replace the factory gatorbacks, I'm just looking for a replacement that has a little more dry hook and can get me around a little better in the snow. I was looking into Pirelli P-Zero Nero's, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, Kuhmo ASX's, etc.., but am open to any suggestions. What are you guys ruuning and how well do you like them? Thanks
  13. I was getting gas at the Shell station on Morse Rd. yesterday. There was a green Noble M12 getting gas two pumps over. I take it thats the one you got pictures of? Cool little car, was it the older 2.5L or the new 3.0L?
  14. If your that interested in it, hes at Quaker Steak & Lube pretty much every Sunday afternoon.
  15. He lives in my apartment complex. I've yet to meet him though, He drives by my place all the time, it's loud as hell and has a cage.
  16. You can get a stronger solid replacement rear sway bar from Maximum Motorsports or Steeda for @ $130.
  17. You think those will be stiff enough?? Did you look into the H&R Race springs? Probably gives the same drop but are much stiffer. To tell you the truth my H&R Super Sports are 760 # springs and I don't think they are too stiff and those are on the OE stock shocks, struts, etc... About damn time.....Those were my very first mod, you got the full lengths right?
  18. Matt, a few tips if you haven't started already. I did mine a few months back. Use an untwisted coat hanger to tie your brake calipers up and out of the way. Like fowler said get ahold of a large crow/pry bar to get the springs out of there seats and to help get the new ones in. When installing the new springs be sure to get the tails lined up correctly with the little groove in the spring seats. You want to get the end of the coil as close to the end groove as possible. We made a few attempts before getting it perfect. What springs did you end up going with?
  19. You need to provide more information.....What are your goals for the car? How much power are you loking to make? Is it going to be a daily driver, drag only, weekend toy? Whats your budget? Single or Twin setup? DIY setup or pre-fabbed? The only pre-fabbed kits available RIGHT NOW are the Total Performance and Lugo's Performance single kits. Pro Turbo Kits single should be done this month and there are a few others nearing completion, For example ITS's single setup, and both Induction Concepts and Young's Performance twin setups.
  20. I second that, Cobra tank and '03 Cobra dual pump. Thats what I plan on using if the funds come out right. If not I'll run a 255 Walbro until I can afford to swap in the '03 Cobra setup.
  21. Serious guys, again that bumper hangs too low. Badass looking? Yes. Practical for a *daily* driver? Hell no! For it to look good, the car really needs to be dropped some. Any puddle of water or a little snow and Rip there goes $700.
  22. Just be warned, with that bumper cover on a *lowered* stang you're asking for trouble. You must be VERY careful when driving. I've now seen 3 or 4 people that have taken big chunks out of that front lip on curbs and other road hazards. Just a warning.
  23. The first thing I do when I start my car is put my seatbelt on then hit the TC button, it's instinct now and dosen't bother me at all. If it annoys you that much, PEP sells their "Tarc Adapt." Does what your looking for but it's $60 I used to have a build it yourself from Radio Shack parts list and diagram, I'll try and dig it up.
  24. Indeed it will You'll need a shorter driveshaft and tweak the tranny crossmember a bit.
  25. Ditch the stocker, she aint gonna hold. It might last for a little while, but you might as well sell it while its good and put that $ towards a new one. With the torque #'s from a turbo that input shaft isn't gonna last. I've got plans for a T-56 when the time comes, hopefully the end of this year BTW I've seen low milage '03 Cobra trannies going for around @ $1800 copmplete with driveshaft.
