That is what is a little nicer with the Novi2k set-up is there tensioner and dual bracket set-up but slip is still present with mine. Here is a couple of things I am trying. I talked to Paxton about the belt slip and they stated in needed to be "tight". Sand blasting the pulley surfaced helped. Did run a 7" crank with 3.25 blower 10 rib. Just machined a 7.75 crank and a 3.5 blower 10 rib. Making a strut brace so I can crank the hell out of the belt tension without fear of hurting the bearing. At the can factory there schedule is done a year in advance. 4 crews, A,B,C, and D. 12hr shifts, 1 month of days, 1 month of nights, work 4 off 3, work 3 off 4. Good flip get off 7 days, bad flip is 7 days strait. After 8 hrs it is time and a half, and they are on break for a hour every two hours of work. 2 free cases of beer a month

My dad has 30 years in at Metal Container "can factory" off of broad street in renoldsburg area. Sister plant to the brewery. It takes an act of god to get hired there and you need to have someone on the inside. Once people are there they dont leave until death or retirement. Good luck

Trying to do all that work just to run the heads on your current combo will not be worth the effort. Build the windsor, keep the heads fresh for it.

Spend the money and buy more down the road. I am a machinist and sometimes it is just not worth the time of tooling up for stuff when you can buy it. I tend to make a lot of my own parts for my cars but even then it is sometimes cheaper just to go buy it.

Is the body panels that bad that it requires them to blasted? I put my car on a rotisserie and blasted the bottom, and engine bay. It was time consuming and every time a drive the car more sand comes out. You never get the sand or what ever media you use out of the car. If you take it to someone be sure to ask what media they will be using and if it will cause any metal distorsion.
